confirmed it. According to him, in most hostels on campus, there is a
total infestation of bed bugs and it has become quite intolerable.
They are now protesting against the school authority for them to take

They should have negotiated with the school authorities because what I have learnt is that protest in Nigeria often leads to damage to property (School's), the school's SUG should take this upon themselves to see that hostel are properly fumigated, which might involve students heading home!

The protest is long overdue. The bed bug nearly killed me n my course mate last year while I was writing my final exam. We had to mix kerosene with sniper. Lmao. Thank God for an outstanding result that consoled me thereafter

The school authority has been non challant about this for a very long time, even after the vice chancellor promised himself to change all the beds during the protest of oluchis death... Its like we the students don't matter much to them.. They should change those beds, or we'll close down the school

For goodness sake, these students are not even ashame to say this. Do you know what it takes for bed bugs to spread like this?. How can a whole school be invaded with bed bugs and the students are bold enough to say it out, and even going on protest.
Can't they just quietly find solution to this by using insecticides like SNIPER? This is too embarrassing to us as a nation to spread on the internet like this, as this has gone all over the world. Just N200 sniper can clear the bed bugs in a whole room, no matter how strong they are. Please this is shameful. Students! please wake up and keep your rooms clean and not to be doing shine shine outside alone. Buy sniper, spray it before going for lectures, and before evening, the smell must have subsided. Pls dis students should free the sch authorities esp d female students dat use pure water nylon to clean their nyash. If u have been to d female toilet in Education Section u will know dat d school authorities should allow d students to continue with d bed bug.
