The Ultimate Football Challenge excitement hits Lagos

The infectious excitement that has been the distinct feature of the Ultimate Football Challenge since it was launched in the South Eastern Nigeria early this year has caught up with football fans in Lagos since the program debuted in the city on Friday 10th July. Every second of the 45 minutes that the program is live on City 105.1 FM has been enthralling.

The phones lines have been constantly busy and those that were lucky to get their call through showed enthusiasm to answer as much questions as they can within 90 seconds that they are availed to, so as to be in contention to win any of the mobile phone prizes at stake. 

The Ultimate Football Challenge has been rated as one of the most exciting game shows on radio. It was designed to provide a unique dimension for football lovers to enjoy the sport and get rewarded for it.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of BrandXpose Mr. Austen Umeania, the Ultimate Football Challenge has amassed a huge followership since it commenced in Enugu and the time has come to expand to the biggest playing field in Nigeria which is Lagos. In his words, “the program’s content is unique and exciting, and the reward is very valuable. In each episode, more than 50 people call-in to participate. The excitement is electric and the platform is a great communication medium for brands that are geared towards the youth segment.

The Ultimate Football Challenge is a live game show where listeners call-in, test their knowledge on different questions about the game of football and get rewarded with mobile phones and other exciting prizes based on their performance. The program has 2 segments, the Ultimate Football Challenge Countdown where callers are given 90 seconds to answer as much questions as they can on different football subjects, and the Ultimate Football Challenge Fan Zone where callers answer questions that are specific to the football club that they support. At the end of the show, the caller with the highest number of correct questions answered in each segment automatically wins a mobile phone. 

The program is live every Friday on City FM 105.1 from 7pm to 7:45pm and every Wednesday on Solid FM 102.9 Enugu from 7pm to 8pm.
