Meet Yuzah.com, A Nigerian app that wants to solve diesel scarcity & distribution

Everyone has a bad personal story about the pains of buying diesel, with long queues, fear of buying bad diesel, harmful spillages, etc. Inspite of these many challenges, over N700bn is still spent by Nigerian households on diesel for generators and vehicles every year, and this led Ovo Emorhokpor, a Wharton MBA trained Nigerian and the team at Yuzah.com to come up with this amazing way to buy and sell diesel from your mobile phone with the YuzahApp.

The simplicity of the startup’s distribution model, product and team helped them scoop the 1 million naira prize money in the Airtel catapult-a-startup competition.
Now they have an opportunity for website/blog/app owners to use their platforms to earn money from diesel, and a simplified process for customers to get diesel using the app.

In 6 easy steps, you can save yourself all the trouble of buying diesel and start smiling today. How does it work?

(1) Download the app from this link here- http://bit.ly/YuzahAppand open it on your phone.
(2) You will instantly have the app locate where you are on a map
(3) If the delivery location is different adjust the address line or move the red pin by holding it and shifting it to the proper place
(4) You will see all the diesel trucks within a certain radius from you
(5) Enter the quantity of diesel you want and order
(6) One of the diesel delivery trucks will accept your order and will receive directions on how to get to you!

Customers that do not use an android device can get diesel by filling a form directly online http://bit.ly/YuzahWebsite

Website/blog/app owners can also sell diesel on their platforms and make revenue powered by Yuzah’s partnership opportunity which is already getting heavily subscribed. Send an email to partnerships@yuzah.com, follow Yuzah on Twitter http://bit.ly/YuzahTwitterand like the Facebook page to get involved http://bit.ly/YuzahFacebook

so encouraging that the IT sector is really living up to expectation in Nigeria. Just that our lame government won't use the opportunity to boost the sector for more job opportunities and wealth creation. I wonder who these so called politician advisers are, is high time they begin to think smart by investing in IT in providing jobs and business opportunity in there various states. With that alone the will have not just massive fellowship but create for there respective states more revenue generation.
