A statement released on the family's behalf by a family friend Sunday night called the death a "tragic accident."
The Hot Springs Sentinel Record reported Monday that an official cause of death wouldn't be released until toxicology reports are ready in a few weeks.
Police Cpl. McCrary Means said Naramore and others have spoken with police about the death.
The local prosecutor has asked to recuse himself. Naramore is a former Garland County deputy prosecutor.

What sort of trending carelessness is this. The so called parents or whosoever is responsible should be arrested.
It is not only white people that do it, Nigerians have joined them. I witnessed it in one of the Bank car parks at Unilag. A mother left her daughter of not more than 4yrs old inside a car with all the glasses wound up to use the ATM. I querried her action but she took offence by telling me that she is a mother and knew what she was doing. I just wondered the kind of mother she is that could not take the little child with her or wind the glass a little to allow air into the car. God will help us not to create any loophole for the devil to strike.
