This is the 18 year old young man who was shot dead yesterday Dec. 23rd by a police officer at a gas station not far from where Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri. But the police say this is a totally different case because Antonio Martin had a gun and pointed it at 34yr old unnamed officer, who pulled out his own gun and shot three times, killing Antonio.
Antonio pictured above pointing a gun at the police officer as the officer responded to a call of a theft in the area. The police officer fired three shots, one hitting the teen. Antonio, who didn't fire his weapon, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding EMS officers.
During a press conference later, the police said Antonio was known to them and had previous charges including three assaults,
armed robbery, armed criminal action and multiple uses of weapons since
he was 17.

Ok. Fine. He pulled a gun. The problem here is America has become a military state. Cops need to find better ways of de-escalating situations rather than the first instinct being to kill first. I don't think criminals are any different in European countries but law enforcement there are not as trigger happy. Perhaps the gun culture of America is a contributing factor on both ends...the perps and law. They need to figure this ish out!

My sis thank you o! A 13yr old girl was killed n her body burnt to cover the crime here in Indianapolis. The guy who killed her is a 42yr old man. The would often be out till early hours.of the morning at say 3am wen d family noticed she was missing. And her dressing alone at 13 was disgusting . My questions are: way the hell is a 13yr old doing outside at 10pm much less till 3am? Why the hell was she allowed to dress the way she was dressed before she was killed? What the HELLL was she doing with a 42yr old man?
At 13 my mother would kill me if I was still outside at 6pm I was a dead meat. If she went looking for me and couldn't find in two or three usual friend's house, I was a dead meat. If I made a new friend and went visiting without her knowledge I was a gonner.

A threat is not enough for officers to kill. They are expected to incur the greater risk because of their training. If soldiers can disarm without using lethal force, local police can do the same in their dealings with dangerous suspects given all the non lethal tools at their disposal.
