Linda please advise your readers to stay away from all these so called 'Island Big Boys' and 'Polo Players'. They are all USERS. They will sleep with you, they will never give you money or anything for that matter (they think it's already a privilege for you to be in their company), and when it's time to settle down, they will go and marry their so called 'girls with pedigree'. I know an ex beauty queen who's dating a telecoms big boy (she mentioned a name, I removed it) and she's already planning her wedding in Paris in her head. I already told her it will only happen in her dreams - even the dream sef go reject am. If you're not in their class, if your father is a nobody, do not bother dating them, except you're also just looking for a good time like they are. But if na marriage, you're sitting on a bicycle. I know, I have dated several of them. They are marrying girls with names and keeping us as side chicks. Beware girls!

Never, ever marry someone beneath you. I did. And regret it everyday of my life. My children must marry well - they must marry people with pedigree. I diluted my pedigree background with my hubby's humble background. I'm praying my children don't make the same mistake. Enough said.
I married someone from a humble background. I regret it. I will ensure my kids don't make the same mistake.

Let me add my two cents to this, what is society? Society is merely a grouping and stratifying of people.
Within each strata exists people of similar experiences, views, goals, conditions and conditioning. If you are not similarly conditioned, it is a complete waste of time trying to hang outside of your strata.
You are born into a strata (or class as some would say)you can never move out of your strata but you can work hard to ensure your kids are of a different strata.
That is just the way society is structured, it isnot snobbery, it is simply divergent experiences and upbringing that causes people not to mix.
Always remember that if you are born in the bottom drawer, the only way to move is up.
