White guy in shock after receiving financial request note from a Nigerian at wedding reception

Arese Ugwu shared this eyewitness account via her IG page. It happened while she was at a party and the person who spotted the white guy, sent a waitress to deliver the handwritten note deceiving her situation and stating her account details. The economy is indeed affecting everyone! According to Ugwu:
"You guys!!!!! I cant breathesee what this Buhari economy is causing o? So we are sitting at our table at this traditional wedding and a waitress passes a letter to this guy saying please I need financial assistance complete with gtb account details".

Nigerians truly have no shame. This culture of dash me,dash me is why we justify corruption & defend corrupt politicians & putrid public officers. When would we realise it's not the government, but our thought process & outlook to life.

Some Nigerians over do things. They should know when to beg. Stop embarrassing people all over the place

Anonymous said...

Shameless people disgracing Nigeria all over the place. Begging has always been there even during Jonathan's administration but i think we should stop the begging attitude before it becomes part of our culture.

make e help na afterall their money is more valuable than ours!....heheheh

Chai, see what Jonathan's administration has caused because of their looting that has now caused a recession.

It is so shameful how Nigerians find it easy to beg for money. I have seen people suffering abroad but they will never beg for money instead they will find all Sort of jobs to support themselves. I Had a cousin who was out of job for years but had a car, I told him why don't you start doing taxi/cabobo with your car pending when you get a job, he looked at me like I was insane. He could not do that but he can beg for money now he is living in SA without papers working in a restaurant as a waiter.

Before you all say it is this economy that is causing this, it is a common practice many of those who server at parties to beg for money from those they deem rich at those gatherings. Many of these young people who are hired by top party planners are using the opportunity of meeting rich and famous people to beg for money. Something in 2013 a young man approached me at a very high society wedding and asked me for money because he saw me sitting the family of one of the celebrants and recently at high class funeral of a business mogul one of such guys while clearing the table where high class people were sitting picked en expensive phone in the full glare of security and nobody noticed. Those party organisers should watch the kind of people they use as servers and they might put them into disrepute one day.
