NLC ends nationwide strike called to resist new petrol price

The Ayuba Wabba faction of the Nigeria Labour Congress has suspended the industrial action called to resist the new price of petroleum motor spirit. This was announced today.

According to Channels TV, this came after an emergency meeting of its organs (the National Working Committee & the National Executive Committee) and the intervention of well-meaning Nigerians including APC national leader, Bola Tinubu. However NLC also announced plans to resume negotiations with Federal Government, with a view to resolving the issues that prompted the strike.

Lmao... That's what a party that has a structure does. Apc disabled nlc without stress. Knowledge is power.

They had no choice when they couldn't achieve anything. Bunch of losers. The change that quenched the power.

No matter how much you want to pretend, the increase in the price of fuel affects almost everyone. Structure or no structure, preparing to take over power without preparing for governance is like preparing for wedding without preparing for the marriage proper.

Hmmmmmm

It was an exercise in futility. No impact, no mileage and just only common nonsense. The integrity of the NLC as a body has been dented and have lost that pulling power.

Suspended right??????
Stupid and confused and selfish game players, they are all playing games with Nigerians.........
If this is how it ends, then what was the need for it in the first place????????
Anyway, It was partially a failure.
Let them later stupidly call for another one or say they want to "resume" the strike and let me see who will respond to their senseless calls......

Suspended right???????????
If this is how it ends then what was the reason for it in the first place????????
The stupid and selfish game players are just using Nigerians to play their games......
Anyway, it was a partial failure....
I am waiting to see who will respond to their calls again if they later call for a "continuation/resumption" of the strike..............
