Troops of newly inducted 3 Battalion, 22 Brigade, in conjunction with Army Headquarters Strike Group (AHQ SG) and the Armed Forces Special Forces (AFSF), cleared out Boko Haram remnants in Kala Balge general area on Tuesday, March 22nd. The team also rescued 520 hostages during the operation.

Exercises like this will keep going on for months cos Boko Haram had really spread their tentacles all over the north by the time the Nigerian Military took the terror fight seriously, but right now Boko Haram has been crippled.
