Quote of the day...

“Zoning is very much alive, it is not dead, it was only suspended for the emergence of Goodluck Jonathan and will be re-introduced after Jonathan's presidency.” - General Olusegun Obasanjo said today at the Jonathan/Sambo grand finale Abuja Presidential Campaign Rally.

This is one thing i like about baba....he has said his mind lol. even if jonathan disrupts presidential zoning, state and local government level zoning is still sadly very rampant. even senatorial positions too are zoned as well....zoning is a mockery of democracy but we as a people can be very tribal minded sometimes so i dnt know dat zoning will ever completely disappear....just my 2 kobos ;)

OBJ is just taking Nigeria on a wild ride! He should enjoy because one day it will all end in tears for him and he will stop laughing. So, he's now admitted that they have cheated re-zoning and he doesn't care what anyone says about it or does about it.

You see! When you select someone because of his zone what reason does he have to perform in office?

When are we going to discard this archaic system called zoning in our country? Zoning, quota system etc that we used in the past did not take us to anywhere. We should do things base on merit or performance. In a civilised society, neither OBJ nor PDP will be able to walk with their heads raised because of the shame or ridicule they have brought the country into.

Some years ago, Nigerians were clamoring for democracy. The military babas changed their style of dressing from military suits to agbadas. Now it seems like everyone is now tired of PDP, the same people heading PDP are now switching to CPC. Brainwashing Nigerians, packaging Nigerians, and infecting Nigerians with the contagious Political Virus that destroys the economy and keep the youths handicapped. May God help us from the Wrath of PDP or/and CPC.
