Here's the question and please answer sincerely. You're on holiday in a foreign country (by yourself) and you miss the last train (midnight) that would have taken you back to your hotel. You're left with only two options; 1. Sleep by yourself at the train station (with no one else around) till daybreak or 2; lodge at the only hotel around the train station...unfortunately its a five-star hotel and the cheapest room there is $2,000 (N320k a night). Bear in mind that you're a regular salary earner...you don't even earn up to N300k a month...but the train station is notorious for violent attacks and is close to a dangerous hood. Which option would you take?

..for starters YOU can't even sleep in the train station ( The Underground) in a city like LONDON..you will be walked out, I don't see that happening..you will not be allowed in the train station when they know you can't get a train...

All 5 star hotels have bars that are open 24hrs......go to the bar and order a drink and chat with the bar man till day break,it's not among your options though, that's what I would do.
Linda option three, go to a police station or talk to a police personnel around am sure they will do some thing even put me in protective custody in their cell if they think am a threat to them sleeping in their station. Take a cab. They work round the clock. Only the registered ones. U get to where eva ur going,anytime. Dats the only means in a foriegn land,if u missed the last train. And cabs are every where,no matter dangerous the area is.

Google the nearest night club or somewhere there are people until dawn.na to grove all night long, or simply call a cab or go to the nearest police station maybe they can give me a free ride to the hotel or wait for night bus.plenty options jare.but I pick my first option.

The answer to this is very simple ke ... I will go to the 5-Star Hotel and hang around in their lobby till day break. At least no one would charge you $2k for sitting around in the lobby or better still sip a drink of $20 at the restaurant all through the night. Silly question, this would only work in an undeveloped country. In any developed country you will be able to call a cab. Furthermore you can go to the hotel & CHILL IN THE BAR / RECEPTION UNTIL MORNING!!! only pay the cost of a few drinks.

I have been in this situation in London, and damn it wasn't funny.I missed my last train back to Birmingham, so I kept walking helplessly around and it was freezing cold.The cheapest room was like 300 a night and didnt have much.I didn't sleep throughout that night until it was 5.30 or so for the 1st train.
