Anonymous said...

All of u talking against Mr President should jst shut up ur smelling mouth. Wot re u talking abt? do u see Mr president as a magician dat will jst transform dis nation over nite witin a space of 3yrs? Wot tangible tin can u pple point out dat his predecessors achieved over d yrs dey were in power, and u pple expect President Jonathan, 2 perfect all dat witin his 3yrs in office. B4 his assumption of office as a President, boko haram menace has bin there, university strikes has bin there, even d once dat lasted 4 almost a year. As far as dis nation is concern President Jonathan, led Administration is d best, we should give him time 2 do his job, atleast almost all d state can now boost of a federal university, we can now ride smoothly on d Lagos- Benin express way, jst 2 mention but a few. If u re not happy wit his administration u can go and huge transformer. Pple who can not control their perspective home re here abbling RUBBISH. Get ready 2 kill ur selves cos 2015 is assured 4 PRESIDENT JONATHAN to complete his good work.

There was a country
a country born years ago. She was so beautiful, well trained and had a good upkeep. She was born with a 'golden spoon'. Though she is grown, she was seemingly enslaved by her parents-restricted from the treasury of the house.
On a fateful day,1st oct.,1960 precisely, her parents left her for a journey of no return. 'poor she!'was what i expected from sympathizers but instead, they rejoiced with her that she finally got her freedom. Odd world!they felt the harsh treatment from her parents was too much for such grown up.they believed she can handle the empire left for her.
Oh! I imagined her those days with her colourful majestic regalia. She always wore a beautiful smile. Her neighbours called her 'giant'. And yes,she was! Strong. Big. Wealthy. But no one knew she could be unworthy of the freedom. She did not know the value of the treasures in her custody. I wouldnot blame her;some persons paid for it long ago before she was born. She gave up the treasures of the empire for stipends;all she cared for was her momentary cravings. Little wonder her head gets bigger and her body shrinks like a wilting plant under the attack of a virus. She lost her finess and fitness. So i asked myself,'where is the beauty we si much cherished?' Her clothes are torn apart, pieces flying in the air to the neighbourhood. Smart old neighbours! They took hold of her torn apparel and patched it with theirs to make it colourful, whilemy once beautiful country goes about with dry crusty leaves, almost exposing her nakedness.
Who shall i send to her? Who will pass the message of truth, that the neighbourns have made her the object of derision? That the friends, who used to feel honoured by her excellency's visits now detest her calls lest they be infected? Who shall wake the sleeping giant and let her realise that she is already half unattired, and that upcoming ones may join in singing her song of sorn?
How i pray her eyes be opened! Now! Tell her to go back to the house,in search of those pieces. She can stil rebuild her fallen walls and sow for herself a more beautiful robe.
Else the jaggered pieces be located by the lurking neighbours.
Then, she would only be remembered by the title,'there was a country'.

What else does he have to say, huh? the so called media chat was a sham and wasn't worth the time. We are not interested. The country has produced one of the clueless leaders of all time. The education sector is on the brink of total collapse, Power generation is a total failure, our youths have taken to the street. Corruption is the order of the day,- it so much evident in the nooks and crannies around us, from the churches to the market place, to our various places of work- corruption is so much on the increase- we have leaders who are less concerned about this- all they care for is enriching and e massing wealth - To be honest with you I weep and shed tears for the nation Nigeria. A country that fails to carry it's youth along, is a failed State with every possibility of extinction in the nearest future! Gbam#

Oh! He still has something to say, what kind of nation is my country becoming. After the whole 6 billion or so naira spending on a trip to a conference on stupid things, rather leaving his motherland in total mess, poverty, insecurity, ASUU strike and lot more.. Lord have mercy on our souls. We pray for a better nation and better leaders..
