Student Immigration Procedures
This year however, there has been a number of changes by
the UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration)to the Tier 4 student visa application
procedure. In view of this, ESCC Education is offering a FREE ‘Student Visa
Guidance Session’ to all prospective students looking to start their study
programmes in the UK in the upcoming September 2015 and January 2016 intakes.
The UK education system gives students the freedom to
combine courses and subjects from different areas of studies, so you can tailor
your degree to your own needs and interest.
1. What will be covered at an ESCC
Education Student Visa Guidance Session?
At these sessions, you will learn about the following;
• Recent changes to
the UK student visa application process
• English level
requirement for visa application and the confirmation of acceptance for studies
(CAS); your Immigration document to apply for your student visa
• The new
Immigration Health Surcharge and changes to the payment process for IHS
• The tuberculosis
Screening/Test procedure requirement
• The newly
introduced Biometric Residence Permit
• Steps to applying
for a student visa, when to apply, processing times, and application centres
• Cost of the
student visa application and how to complete the Tier 4 application form
• Home Office newly
introduced changes to the immigration procedures after arrival in the UK
• Acceptable
evidential documents required by the UKVI for a Tier 4 student visa application
• Pre Departure
briefings: sessions on steps to take on receiving your student visa, what to do
on arrival, at the point of entry, as well as once, you arrive at your institutions.
• At the end of the
session, you will be assigned to a personal visa counsellor, who will work with
you, through the visa application preparation, and packaging, until you receive
your student visa, travel to the UK and enrol on your course of study, all FREE
of all charges.
2. Who needs to attend an ESCC
Education Free Student Visa Guidance Session?
You should attend the Session, if you are a:
· Prospective student who plans to
study in the UK in the September 2015 or January 2016 academic session and
beyond
· Prospective student who has applied
to a study at a UK university or college
· Prospective student who holds an
admissions offer from a UK university or college
· Prospective student in any stage of
the admissions process to study at a UK university or college
· Prospective student who has applied
for a student visa or has received your student visa to study at a UK
university or college. (You require the Pre Departure briefings: which is the
session on steps to take, on receiving your student visa, what to do on
arrival, at the point of entry, as well as once, you arrive at your
institutions)
· Prospective student with a previous
visa refusal/s to any country including the UK, who is interested in learning
the ways to address previous visa refusals and prevent them from affecting your
student visa application.
3. Why do I need to attend an ESCC
Education Free Student Visa Guidance Session?
Student visa application rules and procedures are
constantly evolving. ESCC Education is however, in tune, with these changes and
can help ensure that you get all the necessary information, required to make
your student visa application compliant with the new UKVI requirements. Thus,
we ensure, that you do not risk an avoidable visa refusal, as well as, waste your
time and visa application fees.
We also address previous visa refusals, and how to deal
with these, as they do not necessarily prevent you from obtaining your student
visa.
4. When and where are the ESCC
Education Free Student Visa Guidance Sessions holding?
ESCC Education Free Student Visa Guidance Sessions will
hold at all ESCC Education offices Nationwide every Thursday and Friday in July
and August, starting from Thursday, July 23rd till August 28th
2015.
4. Is there a cost to attend and Do
I need to register to attend an ESCC Education Free Student Visa Guidance
Session?
Attendance at All ESCC Education Student Visa Sessions
are Free of charge, and so, is the assignment of a personal Visa Counsellor.
However, you are required to register for a session, so that we can assign you
to a visa counsellor, at our office closest to you, to take you through the
session and attend to all your enquiries.
