The producers of the movie Broken and Diary of the Triplets, High Definition Film Academy, are set to raise a new generation of Movie stars and filmmakers that will raise the bar in the Nigeria Film Industry, Nollywood, through the 2015 Acting and Filmmaking Training, Short Film Competition, and Awards, Scheduled for August 1st-29th, 2015 in Abuja




2015 SCRIPT TO SCREEN PRESS RELEASE
HIGH DEFINITION FILM ACADEMY has launched out the 2015 Script to Screen Acting & Filmmaking training which is scheduled to hold from August 1st to 29th, 2015 at High Definition Film Academy in Gwarinpa and the final Students Short Film Premiere and Awards at Silverbird Cinema Abuja.
Script to Screen is a special Three-in-one 4 WEEKSIntensive Professional Acting & Filmmaking project targeted at giving intensive training to passionate people who desire to pursue a career in the Creative Arts Industry; Media, Acting and Filmmaking. The project is designed to equip the students in any chosen field of their choice for a period of four weeks, during which they shall be subjected to a rigorous schedule of Classroom Lectures, Hands-on practical and immediate experience. And then they shall be guided step by step in the production of their own short films, of which their final project shall be screened at the 2015 Script to Screen students short film competition/Awards to climax their training program.
Also to run concurrently with the Script to Screen project is the Summer Acting and Filmmaking training for Teens and Kids, same venues and same period.
The courses in this year’s script to screen training includes; Acting, Scriptwriting, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, Photography and 3D Animation.
The organizers of the Script to Screen project has also decided to raise the bar this year as the awards to be won by students this year is endowed with prizes. The endowment prizes is as listed below:
BEST FILMMAKER wins a BRAND NEW CANON 60D Cinema Camera, 1 Year FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP to HD Film Academy, plus a Role as ASSISTANT DIRECTOR in TWO BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES by HD Film Studios
BEST ACTOR wins a ROLE to STAR IN 2 BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES by HD Film Studios, N100,000 in contract, plus 1 Year FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP to HD Film Academy.
BEST CHILD ACTOR wins a ROLE to STAR IN 2 BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES by HD Film Studios, N50,000 in contract, plus 1 Year FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP to HD Film Academy.
