Gov. Rochas demolishes illegal structures/brothel in Owerri (photos)
Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha yesterday July 13th instructed his men to demolish some illegal structures in the
state. Among the things taken down was a popular spot by Control Post
patronized by prostitutes. The structure and others were taken down around 8am yesterday. People described as 'street urchins' and all forms of food sellers also littered the area. More pics after the cut...
I hope there wil b difference wit dis development. D effect dis wil hav on some of d people dat dis development wil affects wil b unexplainable. I wish them well.
Settle what? Didn't you read?!! They are illegal structures, meaning they were not supposed to be there in the first place. They're lucky the government isn't suing them and asking for all the money they made when they were there.
D-PinPointer says: Rochas continue to reveal that he is a visionless dude. Instead of looking for ways to clean the garbages on Owerri streets, and finding ways to create businesses in neighboring areas so that Owerri can be decongested, he is engaging in frivolous things that do not have any economic benefits to the people. Can Rochas swear that there has never been any time in his life he visited ashawo joint?
Ikedi ohakim, finished these demolition, rochas I hope you are not doing these to hurt imo people who refused to voted for you for the second time.God is watching you.
Yea actually passed there yesterday and saw them demolishing it, they needed to really demolish that dis and dat prostitute home its done worse than sodom and gomorah
Plz say wot u kW wit facts, is my father own also illegal? Who told u pple dt he will settle? I reserve my comment sha cos some pole dia house n shops r nt illegal bt I live evritin to GOD
I dnt really knw hw illegal dose abodes were. Bt truth is if u demolish ppls houses witout compensation or any arrangement u sentence dem to life in penury. N dia re consequences; u simply create more street urchins n prostitutes
God is a Good God. Ikings 15:11-13 " And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father. And he took away the sodomites out of the land....." God give the Govt of Imo State favour to carry out illegal structures and make the State a place of safety. and improve the quality of life for the people.
