If you think they are not being racist then I'm forced to think you're dense. Many here live in more civilised climes too, ure not alone. This is pure racism. Let Linda show us other posts from this forum, you may understand. Didn't you read where they said
'they need whites to govern them'
'black brain(or is it DNA) was not made for intellectuality/civilisation'
. They also made mention of Detroit. Is Detroit in Uganda, isn't it in d US?
Detroit is suffering from economic meltdown and it's a predominantly black society. So the allusion to this is an indicator that no matter where blacks go, they are by virtue of their skin made for disaster. The posts here are clear and lucid and mostly just racist punks using this opportunity to air greviances. Maybe they've been scammed b4. Wise, brilliant guys indeed.

What makes that comment wrong. Is there an African nation that can rebut that comment? I agree with you that thats no scientific fact, but dear, look around you, we are so greedy we eat our own young by eating resources that's suppose to help them survive. Just about all African nations are currently dealing with leaders that are power hungry even when its clear to them and every idiot that they can't rule a pack of flies?
We are people of culture yet we don't care for our brother's.
We live in the ocean yet dying of thirst, our leaders clearly don't give a half shit if they did, we won't be in this mess. Anyone with half a brain knows they need only a fraction of the missing N3.65tr (not counting the ones we know nothing about) to maintain the giANT of Africa. SMH
My parents tell stories of after the war, when Nigerian economy was far better than Americans, what the hell happened "GREED"
We celebrate the thieves that have kept us in ruins yet lament on social media, curse these thieves from afar, yet the first video/pictures of Adanna Ohakim and her husband, Caroline Danjima or any other offspring or concubine of these thieves we see, we forget our sense of reasoning, they turn into inspirations for us. We praise thieves that have channeled our money for their private use and family up keep. Imagine governor of Abia state doing thanksgiving for successful tenor (the madness), in any other part of the world people would've poured acid on him not celebrate with him. Next thing he'll be a senator and the masses keep wondering why Nigeria is the way it is.
Imagine former Enugu state governor Chimaroke a senator instead of rioting in jail, seriously, I can't we are in more mess than most of us realize.
Most people want to brag about what a great and wealthy country Nigeria is, with all the rich people in it, yet one individual pocketed pensioners money and our fucking great nation are not matching against this carnage.
More than 75% Nigerians are living in below poverty level. Faking it till we make it. Many Nigerians are dying abroad and we're here dancing for people like Dino, GEJ, governor ukpabi and co.
People say what can we do yet we celebrate artists that a beneficiary of these stolen money. We refuse to throw stones because we hope to be beneficiary eventually forgetting that nothing stolen ever lasts (nri arachatara na akuku ite adi eju afo)
We are the architecture of our own demise and hard as it may sound to hear, there are currently no proof that black people are built to lead.
Pls don't mention Obama as he's half white as well and he's not running United States alone!

I'm sorry 2 admit it, but it's shameful these comments seems to be true from d ways things are going since our independence and d independence of most black nations. They seem not to have the genetic acumen to run a civilized society. Sorry! this is just my thought!

How I wish these comments will spur some conversation about our country and where we are!! For how long will we remain at the bottom of the rung?! LINDA IKEJI PLEASE POST.

So rich yet so poor simply because our minds are impoverished and we refused to hold on to lasting values that enriches the mind body and soul. We are more interested in what we can get than what we can give and have become so vain. Always wanting to show off the best cars and asset but never craving to make one.Always encouraging impunity and compromising rich values as long as there are material riches to show for it.its sad but so very true.No matter the amount of resources you give to a man,if they have poverty or slave mentality with low values they will still end up being poor and this is a reflection of most blacks globally. A community of people ridden off progresive values. StreetWise#

Ignore the comments. They come from an ignorant/nazi level of consciousness and are not representative of what foreigners think. I’m not Nigerian and think completely differently. Ironically a lot of the counties those people come from contributed to Africa’s problems. (the biggest irony is that their ancestors came from Africa..so they should honour Africa for their own existence!) It has absolutely nothing to do with the intrinsic nature or genetics of Africans/Nigerians or people with melanin in their skin (this idea is scientifically false, abhorrent and historically proven false (hello..current leader of the free world? Martin Luther King?) . It’s to do with larger geo-political, historical and evolutionary forces. I can’t believe that people like Brickell Princess still exist! (she must be a white supremacist or simply retarded (i correct myself as that would be offensive to actual retarded people)). In the bigger picture Nigeria will get through this crisis.

THIS IS THE SORT OF RACIST ANTHROPOLOGY THAT IS SPURRING ME ON TO DO THE NEEDFUL AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MOVE OUR PEOPLE AHEAD.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WESTREN WORLD AND AFRICA IS THAT THEIR IDIOTS HAVE A SMALLER SPHERE OF INFLUENCE.

IN OTHER WORDS, WE IN AFRICA OFTEN TIMES PERMIT THE INCAPABLE TO STEER THE COURSE OF OUR DESTINY. HOWEVER ALL OF THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE, WE GOT OUR BEST CHANCE EVER SO FAR TO START ANEW THIS YEAR , MAY 29TH.

Unknown said...

As much as I feel pained about the reality of what's happening in Nigeria, I wouldn't be cowed to believe that a black man is full of ineptitude or lack the capacity to successfully run a state. Every nation of the world has got it's own crisis. Ours is poverty and underdevelopment, but how successfully has these white folks managed terrorism, high crime rates inclusive of senseless killings?

We all as humans are limited by creation and if the path of the black race seems so bleak, let's not the world forget that there was a time that Europe, particularly France, was a big chunk of corrupt and backward state. Even Greece of modern times is no better!

#AfricaWillRise

Oh please. Most of what they said is true except that white people are the saviours and owners of civilization. History does not attest to anything. White people were the players of the World War 1, 2 and soon 3. The difference is they involve other people to go and fight their fight. And the people saying they are exporting black people and using tax payers money to fund them should realize that America especially was built on the back of African slaves. Nobody paid for their labour they were property so what's the issue. Also if we started withe talking drum as a means of communication and they left us their maybe it wouldnt have been so bad but they are same people that said no use fork and knife instead, no our way is best and now when our leaders have opened their yansh for rubbish to be said to them what happens we should go back to our talking drums. It has nothing to do with GEJ but the black race. Gej asked for fuel subsidy to be removed we fought him but now we are all turning round to blame him. BLACKS IN GENERAL HAVE A PROBLEM. WE CAN NEVER TELL OUR SELVES THE POINT BLANK TRUTH. EVERYBODY TRIES TO DEFEND THEIR STANCE EVEN WHEN IT IS SO OBVIOUSLY WRONG. APC will soon come in. Let us see............

To be quite honest, I don't think they are wrong, they are saying such Cuz my continent leadership have always thought backward. But here's news for you white barbies, the continent's younger generation is growing faster in both intellect and ideal than Y'all have in centuries, check you institutions, you will find Africans making extraordinary breakthrough, won't be long before your lazy Asses start looking towards Africa for help.

Pay attention: these Caucasians are liars and decepticons. It is highly untrue that blacks cannot run their affairs. What you need understand is that the average American for example is just as lazy and "not so smart" as the average Nigerian is. The fortunate thing for them is that their leaders chose to do the right thing as they visualized ahead a brighter prospect for their nation. The average 'white man' is not smart; ever heard the saying "blondes are dumb?" if our leaders choose to see the value of proper investment in its land, Nigeria can and will surpass the United States of America, and America knows this but can't afford for that to happen. Think about it for a sec; how ambitious and creative and innovative the Nigerian man is. The Americas intentionally create divisions among us to keep us from being a United States on Nigeria for this fact. If a few of our very brilliant Nigerians are able to hold the powers at the top, you will see that firstly, it takes a few people to start something new, then it trickles down to the masses, which would seems as if that entire country were brilliant. Without disrespect, the average American is not as smart as they think; its just their fore-fathers who chose to do the right things. If a select few of our leaders choose to do the right thing, the entire Nigeria would seem as 'a smart people'; just as the average American thinks of himself. WE ARE NOT INCAPABLEAND WE DONT NEED THE WHITES TO RULE US. #Caucasian deception.

although this is not about electricity, but i still say stop the importation of generator and there will be light in Nigeria. Nigerians are now used to the self sufficiency that they give the govt. cause to loath. We provide our water( bore-hole), we provide our Nitel (gsm) we provide our own electricity (generator) so what does the govt. provide and please let nobody tell me health care or free education cus that ship has been sailed long ago. Nigeria is too blessed to be her present state and i pray this incoming govt. does not put us to shame again.

This is what happens when Nigerians choose to carry issues in the country and broadcast them abroad. You won't get sympathy. You'll get insults. You can complain all you want but washing your country in public is a dent on you and not just your government. Nigerians will go as far as paying for air play abroad to taint the country. It's bad, the situation is terrible. Well, it's the same out there and we are the only ones who can fix it.

TRUTHSAYER - ACTIONDOER said...

I'm so glad to know that finally, a greater number of we Nigerians, are beginning to reason and think more responsibly. Gone are the days when we blamed others for our misfortune or we felt helpless about our situation.

We are now fully aware of the fact that we collectively contributed to the downfall of our nation. This new character we've imbibed, is a sign of hope. Hope in the sense that we now know the problem. Hope in the sense that since we have a brain equal to any living human brain in the world, we can devise a solution.

We have indeed made a very good and fundamental first step. The next three steps to move us forward, are:

1. Making it our personal responsibility to come up with REAL solutions. We should take it as serious as an exam or an assignment on which our promotion or our very life, is hinged-on.

2. Discussing these probable solutions with one another through innovative forums. We know how to comment on trekkers, actors, models and musicians, but we fail to bring up ideas and CONSTRUCTIVELY discuss how these ideas can work to help build up our nation. These can be topics of discussion in our social activities in school, at work, societal or even in religious gatherings.

We are in a state of emergency! We cannot afford to be lackadaisical about our nation. We have great minds! Let’s put them to work, together.

3. Putting our words into ACTION in our little corners. We should STAND for TRUTH and RIGHTOEUSNESS wherever we are, in whatever we do. Any form of ‘politics’ that seeks to deceive and cheat people, is NOT politics but CORRUPTION.

Good people are usually in the minority in Nigeria. Let us turn the tables around, and be the ones who stand for JUSTICE, who admit when they are wrong. Who serve the punishment for doing wrong without looking for short cuts, and who deliver the right judgement regardless of an offender’s personal relationship with us or hierarchical position in society.

Let us stop thinking about ourselves and our families only. Let’s start thinking of our nation. Let us strive to make our motherland proud, and to bring her honour wherever we find ourselves.

If we follow through these steps. WE WOULD NOT ONLY BE A POWERFUL NATION, WE WOULD BE A GOOD EXAMPLE TO OUR SISTER AFRICAN NATIONS, AND COLLECTIVELY, WE CAN BUILD A STRONG GROUP OF ECONOMIES THAT NEED MINIMAL DEPENDENCE ON THE OUTSIDE WORLD.

If we neglect these steps, we should keep it in our minds that WE ARE THE ROOT of our country's problems.

Thank you for reading through. Please act on it.

Does it make sense that africa's largest oil producer does is suffering a fuel crisis when other countries that have nothing never have this issue? Is it normal for us to supply power to Niger/Cotonou/Togo etc and they always have power when we don't? Does it make any sense for our leaders to own all they do when their civil service salaries aren't enough to fund the level of affluence portrayed? Is it normal for one of the richest countries in thee world not to have good roads, infrastructure or any sort of convenience to make life bearable for its citizens? Why are we so rich..and such a joke around the world? Why????
