Johnnie Walker brings Formula One Race Car Caparo to Nigeria

Formula 1 race cars called the Johnnie Walker ‘Caparo’ are parked at the Ikeja mall and the Palms Lekki. If you are at either of the malls in Ikeja or the Island, try taking a picture with the car and tweet it to #imnotdriving #stepup2vip. Johnnie Walker is planning big things in a couple of weeks with style and race cars, with a major artiste headlining the show. Will keep you all posted as the gist come in.

Super coool!

It isn't a Formula 1 race car though. It's built to look like one.

The Caparo T1 is an English super car built in the year 2007 by the Caparo Vehicles Technologies, a division of Caparo and is deliberately inspired in different technical solutions to the cars of Formula 1.

Oh really? :/

Chikaka is quite right. The caparo at the Palms in Lekki is actually more of a LeMan's styled car built for fast endurance races. The other one at Ikeja city mall is more of a show car for celebrities to own and drive on race tracks. An actual F1 car will definitely look more ferocious than that. I would love to find out how many horsepower those things deliver though. They look like the dream car for any serious petrol head.

Just verified that those cars produce 575 horsepower using normal unleaded petrol and up to 700 horsepower using High octane methanol. That amount of power from a car that weighs less than 500kg is a recipe for neck-break acceleration and insane, mind boggling speeds. I would love to get my hands dirty with this bad-boy. Bring it on Johnny!!!
