Mrs Oritsejafor's limo

That's CAN president, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor's wife coming out of her white stretch limo. Private jets, expensive homes, Limo rides...these men of God are really living the life. They need to start teaching pentecostal evangelism in universities, so more people can come out of the poverty trap. And no, I'm not taking back my words. *tongue out*

Smh... "he who has no sin, let him be d first to cast a stone"..... So called Christians judging! Pointing accusing fingers! Who are u to judge??? What have u don individually tohelp d poor?.... And those "Catholics", "penticostals", etc... Need I remind u that "the church" is a body! On that judgement day, denomination and worship centres won't be important! What's important is our deed and way of life! If u realise that we will all die sooner or later, leaving d earth with nothing! You won't bother ur pretty head about who wons what and why! GOD HELP US!

A lot of us are missing the point. church ministries are set up as non-profit organisations. They do not pay government tax. the expectation is that donations, offerings, gifts etc are to be received for the benefit of the masses. So we must separate that collected from the parishners on behalf of the church and the actual wealth of the those who serve in that church irrespective of whether they own that church or not. So yes it will be seen as obscene when gifts are used personally by the pastors. That is why people also feel affronted when pastors display wanton extravagance - the money simply does not belong to their individual pockets. The church can be rich (which is what the average parishner is praying for his church)but that does not leave the wealth at the mercy of the pastors - that is simply called misappropriation.
You cannot compare them to actors, musicians, private entrepreneurs etc as these people went into business solely for profit and gain - they are taxed heavily for this!

Stop with the judging
I don't know what they are doing
I also do not believe i am in a position to judge them.

it is because most of these idle pastors dont pay tax, that is why they have money to buy jets!mscheeeeeew!those of u supoorting these so called MOG, u are just as evil as they are! It is becoz the MOG condone ur abortions, incest, rape nad child abuse, adultery, fornication, murder, opression and all manner of evil, that is why u are ready to kill for them!!! if not why do they find it so difficult to preach against these sins? all they know is prosperity! Was it not Jesus Christ who told the rich young man to sell all he had? Make una dey deceive unaself! U dey serve pastor yet u claim to serve God! mscheeeew!

I worship God with all my heart and I also open my eyes well in church when they pass the offering bowl round at least 5 times. Once I give what I plan to give for that sunday, even if the bowl is passed round a million times afterwards, they are on a long thing.

Open your eyes and serve God not your pastors.

Due to the nature of my job, I am privy to what some of these G.O's have in their personal accounts. If you hear the figures, some of you will faint. Some of them can single handedly pay up a nation's debts.

Only God knows who is serving him in spirit and truth. QED.

It is not bad to ride good cars.If footballers buy private jets, musicians ride expensive cars, politicians own properties worth billions...i don't see any reason why pastors/pastors' wives should not own jets/limo...or what have you.
Theses people have laboured...they move around a lot...they have personally raised a lot of millionaires (through their teachings and prayers) who say YES SIR to them...what else do you expect.
Look,if you are a good son...even if your dad is poor, cant you buy expensive rides for him and even help him to maintain it...especially if YOU can afford it? Friends lets stop all these criticism and face your life.
Apart Im sure some of you have given personal gift of say beverages, shirts, shoes, cash to your pastor before! Now if God should promote you...wont you give him something better?
I personally know some peolpe who cannot stand to see their pastors push his car all day while they are riding the latest jeep...pls lets think deep before we post comments.

1st of all I am not ignorant, but I hear the word of God a lot even if I can't cram all the verses, if any of you guy's have taken some time to visit your remote villages, inside thick bushes, you will witness ABJECT poverty and you will wonder that such people live, there are people that if you give them 1000 naira, they will somersault like they have won the lottery. All I hear from these MOGs is prosperity, prosperity. Why are there so many churches, yet Nigeria is so backward? What you should be concerned about is the state of your soul. Jesus fed 5000 people because they were hungry, is it not the same gospel that says 'What shall It profit a man if he gains the WHOLE world and lose your soul?' Please leave sentiments aside and follow God's word.My opinion. No insults please.

What people need to understand is some people r made to be followers, they need someone to tell the what to do what to say what to eat if possible. Most of the people that go to this churches r followers, how can u worship a man just like u, just because he told u God talks to him. if u saying point out what this pastors r doing, they will say how can u talk about a man of God. Give enough for the up keep of your church, that is all u need to give. Ask yourself did your church send your 10% to God Am sure they don't take cash in heaven

Some comments here are very upsetting. In these hard times when Nigerians are struggling to make ends meet, religious leaders are buying jets and limousines and you tell me it is a gift or something they worked hard for. Please give me a break. More than ever before, Nigerians need real help...

I am surprised why we have more foreigners assisting with the plight of Nigerians, helping them with access to medicare, education, water and sanitation while Nigerians occupy themselves with material things. How many Britons have Jets. As a matter of fact, when limousines are used, they are hired.

No wonder we are the laughing stock of the world and the main reason why donations into the country for genuine charities are dwindling.

Kai! Linda, you should check before you post oh! That Limo is not for Mrs Oritsejafor, it was a white man in the US that bought and shipped it to Nigeria for Pastor Ayo as a gift. The church uses it to carry guest ministers and sometimes the pastor or his wife use it too. Be informed abeg.. Don't incite people with rumours. Pastor Ayo doesn't buy cars or even clothes, he gets them as gift, whatever they buy for him he uses to make nice styles, even ankara he wears. He is quite humble and very accessible for his status. Trust me! You pple don't know this man.

Oh how more stupid can u b! Gullible dats what u are! May I ask u who is a man-of-God! D bible says we will know dem by their works. For ur info any one can call himself a man of God even 'Jesus of oyingbo'. Once their lives do not reflect Christ then it's not a sin to question dem. Christ was simple, even his disciples in Act 2:45-46 made sure everyone one in their midst had enough. 1 Tim 6:5-6 warned xtians of prosperity preachers, but trust Nigerians, we will not learn. With all d churchs d ills in our society is beyond comprehension. Pls go and read ur bible and stop following blindly!
