ICC Chief Prosecutor, Mrs. Fatou Bensounda, told journalists at the State House, Abuja on Tuesday, after a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan, that the court had placed Nigeria under “preliminary examination” as a result of the violence.
She also said the attacks may be described as “crimes against humanity.” Bensouda, however, noted that the ICC was watching to see how the Nigerian government would handle the Boko Haram issue. (Punch)

The ICC is just trying too hard to be relevant........its ridiculous to be talking about crimes against humanity when a faceless terrorist group is involved
