This is why the Ibo palm oil is the most hygienic and nutritious. This is not how palm oil is extracted in ibo land. Theirs is cooked and pounded and sieved and even after the extraction, it's cooked again.
I wish I hadn't seen this. Yuck! The palm oil produced from Ada in IMO state is produced using a manual compressor. How much is it nah.? Let's move forward oh great father land
They could pee in there or even go in without wiping and washing their bums after a number 2 and no one would know it!! Linda, you want to make people stop using raw palm oil to eat yam:)
Well, all I could say is that no matter how mind burgling it may appear, it wouldn't stop the demand for red oil. The dirt, I believe, goes out with the residue and water. It doesn't affect the oil itself.
I can graphically imagine the menstrual blood soakin the cheap toilet tissue she used to trap the unholy blood penetratin through her dirty white panties n drippin into the product that is being processed.

Thankfully after this stage it goes on the fire for quite sometime to extract the oil. But it's about time we change the process. Find a modern way of processing this stuff. Seeing this, am put off palmoil, at least for awhile.
What is all this pretence from most people for? It is the way it was done and it didn’t kill our forefathers, otherwise we won't be here! What of oyinbo grapes and wine? Did they always have mechanical presses?

Abeg! Abeg!! Abeg!!! Those complaining should go into palmoil production and lead the way in hygenic processing. all you people do is criticize and complain and then eat meals prepared with it. Shioooorrr!
Some people self, always forming and behaving as if we never had our own local way of doing my things before the advent of mechanization. Plz what is wrong with the pics posted above that some even claim it irritates them?
You guys disgusted with body hygiene do u stress when u jump into bed with your smelly rich politicians. Because palm workers are poor u are mocking them. When they get rich tomorrow u gonna licker their asse
meany people are ignorant of what is going on around them, this is how we process palm oil in Nigeria for ages. this pictures show the 5th stages in processing palm oil. Stage1: harvest the seed from palm tree. stage2: remove the seed (palm kernel) from the bunch stick. Stage3: You cook for hours until the body layer of the seed became soft, and allow to cool. Stage4: In this stage they use feet(leg) to match it until the body layer pill-off from palm kernel. Stage5: is what you see LIB picture...
The question now is 'what is NAFDAC' saying about this?' All those palm oils you see in nice looking bottles in shoprite and other big stores, is this how they were. Before the 'Packaging' Na wa o. God is our strength in this country.
This is not how they procees palm oil in my own state. Abia. They boil and pound it in big motar. Bring it and separate the chafts and the kennel then squeeze the shaft to bring the oil out.they also boil it
ds method is sooo old..looks yucky but have u seen how food is prepared at dos road sides u go...or havent u hed someetimes fast foods use dead chicken meant to be evacuated from farms dat have issues...its God dat is saving someone ...
