Nnamdi Kanu fulfills bail conditions

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, today, fulfilled the bail conditions granted him by the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Nnamdi Kanu had been ordered by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja to provide three sureties, consisting of a serving Senator, a Jewish religious leader and a traditional leader from the South-East. Each of the sureties is to provide N100 million bond and must own a landed property in Abuja.

On Friday, the bail conditions were met as the Chairman, South East Senate caucus and former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, a Jewish High Priest, Immanuu-El Shalom Okabemadu and a Chartered Accountant residing in Abuja, Tochukwu Uchendu, were all present to stand as sureties. The Rabbi was flown into Abuja from Port Harcourt.

Justice Binta Nyako had earlier said that Kanu's bail will be revoked if he flounts any of the orders in his bail condition, one of which states that he is not to be in a gathering of more than 10 people.

Now that your leader is free I expect to see all Igbos all over Nigeria, sell their shop and properties and relocate to their Biafra to stay. Time for you folks to develop your Biafra land and actualize your dream abi?

Once you all do that Nigeria's image would be cleaned up. Nigerians would no longer be known as drug carriers, that title would pass over to Biafrans. Kidnapping would reduce drastically in Nigeria. Fake goods would reduce in Nigerian markets.

Pls let's all support them so they can go and leave Nigeria alone for decent people. Biafra the landlocked 5 Igbo states. We (Nigerians) would allow you dredge the Niger to the sea so you can use it as your sea route.

Keep shut. We are worse together. What do you know?

Because Buhari will die pursuing this case and will not live to witness the coming of the biggest country in Africa. All hail BIAFRA

Mr Anonymous ur comments are tribalist and not what a fellow Nigerian should utter.Cessation has its history all around the world so there is nothing wrong with an ethnic group asking for its independence. I am of Igbo decent but do not share d vision of my fellow nwafors as I still belive there is more we stand to gain being united than independent. Biafra is not an Ibo issue, Biafra is a state of the mind issue.
