In a telecast to a announce the church's annual programme, Shiloh 2016 Convention, Oyedepo said those criticizing the university's high fees were acting in ignorance and risked incurring the wrath of God.
According to him, an individual who criticized the church recently, suffered chronic mouth odour and was healed after he confessed to him.
“The school fees has Gods approval and is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided by the university in meeting the educational needs of the nation.”he said.Covenant University charges N799,500 per session for 100 level students.

I don't understand how paying high school fees (that is making life difficult for people) can be ordained by God. It reminds me of what Prince Eke said:

CU does not have a fixed school fees it depends on your faculty, course of study and level so LIB should do correct investigation first before posting.
Secondly, CU has the best facilities compared to any university in African country. Infrastructures cost money. Please note I am not their product.

FYI, I'm a winner, Joined at age 12.I have been for the past 8yrs... maybe I should say was because the whole 'money-money' thing upsets me! I was really committed, at 14 I was already in the adult choir, I put in my time, money and everything, cos I was passionate about God... but the church basically killed my drive.
In my local church, there are so many poor people. Yet, all shiloh sacrifices are converted to cash and sent to canaan land. Members will have pressing problems and the pastor will just say, "it is well".
Why? Why can't the church help people out? I agree you can't expect the church to do stuff for you, but hey, why is it in existence then? To milk you dry?? We should think people!! Think!!! Every sunday, that church makes millions, from your tithes, offerings and you can't even send your kids to 'HIS' university. I wish they would.how wud dey explain the scholarship in landmark uni whr at 200lv the scholarship students where coerved to sign..5yrs of their lives working for the bishop else forfeit the scholarship. Who does that when that wasnt part of the original deal.i pitied most who whr on scholarship den who had to leave or couldnt meet up the fee..they dropped out without any remorse frm the management. Yet their tithes and offerings built it all.
