This makes absolutely no sense ... he is there to do a constitutional job. How many sittings does the house have in a whole session for them to suspend him from representing his people. By suspending him, you effectively suspend the entire constituency. The house should not have the power to do that. Only the people who elected him. I hope Jibrin challenges this suspension in court, it reeks of illegality. Suspending him from leadership ...yes but not from his duly elected seat. That is ultra vires the house
They refused to look in the allegations he raised, but went ahead to suspend him for raising an alarm. Another thing that surprises me is the President's silence on this matter, but was quick to comment (albeit indirectly) on Mama P's case
