North Korea sentence alleged US Spy to 10 years with hard labour

North Korea has sentenced a US citizen named Kim Dong-chul to 10 years of hard labour in Prison for spying. 62 year old - Kim Dong-chul who was born in South Korea but is a naturalised US citizen, was arrested in October 2015.

In what was seen as a forced public confession which is common by foreign prisoners in North Korea, Kim had appeared in front of reporters last month making a confession, saying he was introduced to South Korean spies by US intelligence officers and was paid by South Korea to conduct espionage.

North Korea alleges that Kim had a USB stick containing military and nuclear secrets on him and have sentenced him to 10 years of hard labour
