WHY YOU SHOULD SIGN UP
This First Aid course is unique because it focuses specifically on Children! And covers important things to know – like when a child seems to be choking did you know it is dangerous to pat/hit him or her on the back?! So mothers, caregivers, nannies, parents sign up and come ready to learn some key tips! The course is being taught by a certified First Aid Trainer in collaboration with the Red Cross. Get a completion certificate.
On completion of the course, candidates should be competent in:
Child CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
Infantile convulsion and choking
Care of an unconscious child
Daily checks on the behavioural performance of the child
Head injuries and child associated illnesses
Oral dehydration therapy ORT
Burns and bleeding

TIME: 11am – 2pm

Oral rehydration therapy pls. And who says it's wrong to pat a choking child or even an adult? Hmm God help Nigeria.

Even though this seems to be coming in late I still wish the organizer was not only concerned about the $$. This should actually be a compulsory course taken by anybody who comes in contact with alot of people in a commercial setting. If this can be done we won't have people just dropping dead without trauma or visible injuries in Nigeria. Everyone should be taught how to administer basic CPR not "bring cold water" when somebody drops.
