Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, poet and actress Jill Scott, 44, married her longtime boyfriend Mike Dobson in a private ceremony yesterday June 25th. This is her second marriage. She married Lyzel Williams in 2001 after seven years of dating but the two divorced in 2007 after six years of marriage. Jill later got engaged to her drummer and welcomed a son with him in 2009. They broke up two months after they welcomed their son. Wishing her all the best with this one. More pics

Linda,how come you have not blogged about this Charity Aiyedogbon case? You are a platform that gets to a lot of ppl and i think this story needs to get out. Violence against women is getting out of hand and this case is even more sad cos there are allegations that the woman's own daughter provided her father with the information that enabled him to kidnap and murder her and that she's actively trying to help him cover up the crime. The police are being accused of corruption and ineptitude. The allegations that the husband a David Aiyedogbon has them firmly in his pocket and is using them to harrass and subvert potential witnesses. Once this story gets on lib,it should put the spotlight on everything and hopefully aid in her rescue if she is still alive as her daughter is claiming or justice if she has been murdered.
