Trailers block Ikorodu road leading to the Island (photos)

The situation on Ikorodu Road this morning is a mess. The gridlock stretched out on Ikorodu road beyond Ojota this morning. The road towards the Island/Aapapa is totally blocked. Trailers have been stationed along Ikorodu road going towards the Island since last night. What is going on?

Why are these trailer drivers so stubborn? If sanctions are not imposed, they will never learn.

Ambode says they should park any where after 6am then start moving by 9pm .

Ambode ke! he's still busy with shading Fashola, he's not done yet. Hopefully, work will start in Lagos when he's done with pay-back tinz. This is pay-back time! Some people ddt accept dat we also needed change in Lagos.

Are these tanker drivers then not unrepentant murderers? If not, why are they kicking against measures designed to prevent more unnecessary deaths?! Ambode, pls tow all those trailers and fine the companies. #LagosWillNOTBeHeldToRansom #ThisMustStop @GidiSnitch

This traffic situation started since friday. i guess this is a revenge by truck drivers to get @ the administration of Ambode by making them to travel late and stop early. AMBODE enforce your law.

You haven't seen anything. Come to airport road. All the way to mile 2. This is not a country. And this "Ambodi" governor is starting to remind me of GEJ. Has no business being GOV! #cluelessness

ary said...

These guys know they are untouchables and thus they can get away with things like this.

Unknown said...

Oga o

Please leave Ambode alone let the govt decentralize all these things that are causing traffic.Look at the Calabar port and others outside Lagos why are they not thriving.
