New Day Care - for elderly, people with disabilities etc

Any form of disability is not a loss it’s a wakeup call on channeling our efforts towards possibilities of a normal life and other abilities for such individuals. Attacking people with disabilities or forsaking them is the lowest display of power that can be imagined.

People with disabilities, seniors (the elderly) or individuals with any form of psychological disorders, and many more also deserve a chance at a normal life and should be provided with such and Guess What? Such care has been made accessible. NewDayCare is here to help offer such support.

NewDayCare Support Limited is the number one care company in Nigeria, and with our sister company in the UK we can provide the best care for you and your loves ones both home and abroad. The service of our company includes deploying trained professionals to clients’ homes to take care of their personal needs such as,

This trained professional also helps with the client’s personal hygiene such as

They are trained to be good companions which involves

It's a good development. I just pray Nigerians will not turn it to a dumping ground for old people. That is what the "oyinbos" do. They put their aged ones in care homes for selfish reasons.

Very encouraging. It's time we go back home and help the less privileged in our society. With Gods strength am coming up with a support housing for people with mental health issue (NGO).

Good one, God will help u to do it well bc ds Naija many pple work for money not bc they are passionate abt d job its not easy to take care of old ones and d disabled. In abroad the workers are well trained and u dont dare maltreat the disabled and d olds help is just a call away but here in Naija private org.hmmmmm it is well oh in abroad govt.takes responsiblity of the old ,disable and the children buh here in Naija whether they eat or starve to death is not govt biz.all they know is to pack money into dia pockets at least ds kind of seevice shd be govt biz. God will punish them all. Vote Jonathan ko.

Nursing home in nigeria? I fervently pray we don't become these westerners by all means, who have no regards for their old n dump their old in the nursing homes where they are treated like discarded toys, old n used up.

I pray, cos this just dampened my spirit

Though this is nice but it is not in our culture to dump our old people in nursing homes like they do in America.

It's a good concept especially since our govt gas closed eyes on such important people in the Society...
However I think they are trying to meet the needs of too many people....are they a retirement home or a home for children with disabilities? They can't do both in the same house....it's either a children's home or adult...
Because they have totally different needs...hopefully they know what they r doing and it's just not profit oriented...

Evolution. Very encouraging. It take courage and years of experience and professionalism

Good one, it's only the Catholic Church that does this, takes care of the the old, orphans, disabled etc. This is a nice one though, better if they get a home instead of sending caregivers.

Nigerians and copy copy. Anyways it is good they are copying something good this time from western world.

Unknown said...

Linda, you need to move to this part of the world so that people can make a lot of money suing you. You nee to STOP referring to them as people with disabilities they are called people with special needs.

Great idea & services but I'm sure d poor & lower classes can't afford it, d services are for d rich & super rich, I pray that someday our Govt will look into this welfare section & enhance it for d public who may need such care or services.

Anonymous said...

The adult day care comes to Nigeria but who pays? Such long-term care is usually expensive. Can the average Nigerian afford it?

Unknown said...

we need more of this in naija......really nice

Ok don't insult our intelligence. The picture of the man in the mink coloured outfit being fed is such a deceptive picture. The man is well dressed with jewellery and a wedding ring, and you're portraying him as a disabled man. Shame on you!!! If you didn't have someone to represent the disability, then why not just write it up in your advert alone. Don't get me wrong, I think what you are doing is great, but don't mimick people going through the struggle, All in the name of making money.

I am so impressed with this home. Family life is so hard this days that people don't have enough time to take care of their older parents and it's understandable cos they have to work, earn a living and raise their own family. So because of this there older parents are left in the hands of unsuitable house helps who most times don't care much and are not paid well too. So with this home our elderly parents can get good care. I hope more of this home come up in Nigeria. We over look this but is a real necessity. Good job people am so happy and proud of you organization. I worked as a student career in the UK and it was a fulfilling experience, helping the helpless.

Unknown said...

So are you saying disabled people aren't allowed to dress well?
To look good is part of maintaining their dignity. That photo showcased it. Oya thank me:-) x

Anonymous said...

Good idea yes , however if I may refer to an earlier comment posted . The use of the word " disability" is not professional . And also the pictures taken are very artificial .

its quite obvious that these individuals are not professionals in this field .

health isnot an issue one should joke around with. This advert makes mockery of those who are directly affected or indirectly in some way.

Please dont get me wrong , its a good initiative BUT is it real value for money . The presentation tells a lot.
