This is awful! But i will still have to say that our government, our community and everybody is involved (directly and indirectly). We need to embark on career development, some of these youths are frustrated due to lack of employment opportunity and lack of motivation. Until our educational system is restructured to center on the learner with the motive of motivating and developing the learner to be autonomous and hence contribute meaningfully and positively to the society, we will continue to see vices like this. Our Education managers and curriculum planners should go back to the drawing board, our government should invest on youth empowerment, our social and religious institutions should wake up to the developmental challenges we face and redraft their programs to incorporate these ideas, we need to develop our human resources and motivate same positively to impact meaningfully to the society.
