According to a recently released study by EY, a global business and
financial advisory firm, Nigerian bank customers have been rated the
heaviest users of Automated Teller Machines in the world. The study also
rated Nigeria as one of the top three countries whose bank customers
use social media when making decisions on selecting a financial service
provider. The study also shows that Nigerian bank customers have the
highest banking sensitivity and are the second highest globally to close
accounts based on poor experience.
EY’s Advisory Banking Sector Leader for Africa, Mr.
Colin Daley said in a statement that they came to the conclusion after sampling 32,000 bank customers in 43
countries including Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.
"Nigerian bank customers have the highest level of trust for primary financial service providers in Africa and second globally behind India. Twenty-four per cent of Nigerian customers have experienced a problem with their banks that required resolution. Seventy-two per cent of customers were either very satisfied or satisfied with the response that they received. However, 28 per cent were less than satisfied

It can't be a lie, Nigerians are obsessed with ATM cards, most of them have just 1k and they want to collect card, when they are charged 1k I wonder what theyll use the card to collect, some banks have issued 5million cards so I cannot say its a lie, am in the industry, so I think I know what am saying
And wat country is that? Those there are definitely d ones making ur country a country. Minus them a u Ar all done 4

It's probably very true and it is not a good thing. It means Nigeria is still a backward society. I can count the number of times I use the ATM in England which is a cashless society you people be feeling happy there. Olodos
@alloy you think linda will give you money in December like BONARIO that's why you must open your dirty gob on every issue on this blog. Woman wrapper.
This is NOT A GOOD THING. It means Nigeria is still a backward society and others are now cashless. In developed countries, you can use 'POS' to buy pepper in the market sef.
Nice 1
How can that be gud? It tells u that nigeria is yet 2 embrace online/ other cashless means of making payments for several things. It cost a lot of money to print and maintain cash u know. Plus d lesser d amount of cash in circulation, d better for d nigerian economy
Nigerians shld visit their individual banks and sign up for mobile/internet banking and experience more efficient banking. Since I signed up for mine, I don't think I have ever had to visit any bank to transfer money from my account to any other account in any bank in nigeria.
I swear naija na die....
