@Amarachukwu, I think your mom is right. I use myself as an example, I was married to a wonderful but extremely busy Dr. We hardly spent weekdays together. I am a social worker. The director at where I worked and I started talking a little longer than we should and would take our lunch breaks at the same time. We visited some clients together. Needless to say, we started seeing after work and it turned into a romantic relationship. He is married and I was at that time. Well I had an affair, my husband found out, decided to stay with me but the relationship was not the same and he could not even make love to me genuinely anymore. Do I blame anyone, not really. I wasnt getting what I needed and looked elsewhere. I got comfortable in the arms of another. I left my husband cos it was too much of an anguish for me to see his hurt. Anyways women and MEN need to be careful in these type of circumstances

@opeyemi, i take it you are reffering to me: "my story", well the truth is my director still wants me in the picture but not ready to leave his wife. I do not even want him to do that....Typically, people should get into relationships for better or for worse but I think if women know they are clingy, needy and are home bodies, they should not marry men who cannot be around for them as much as they want. Being married to a doctor, an ER one at that, is the toughest thing I ever did. I was faithful for 4yrs but was missing out on so much love and attention that I got it elsewhere. If the man you are about to get married to is in a profession where he won't be able to satisfy your needs emotionally and physically please you have to let it go. I am not a materialistic person. I had it all financially but lacked the emotional aspect and I hurt someone who loved me and cared for me financially so think well before you make the leap so as not to offend anyone especially God.
