Beautiful 14 year old Gia Soriano died in hospital last night after she was taken off life support. Gia was one of the five people shot at close range by 15 year old Jaylen Fryberg at Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington D.C before he turned the gun on himself on Friday October 24th. (read
here). Her family released a statement saying;
"We are devastated by this senseless tragedy. Gia is our beautiful daughter, and words
cannot express how much we will miss her."
The hospital where she died said her organs were donated for transplant. Among the five people Jaylen shot at were two of his cousins, 15 year old Andrew Fryberg and 14 year old Nathan Hatch. Jaylen is said to have targeted the group because a love interest didn’t chose him. RIP, Gia!
