Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu and Wazobia FM On Air
Personality, Matse will jointly host the maiden edition of the Face of
Peace Africa Pageant this year, the organizers have revealed.
The
Face of Peace Africa Pageant is a new beauty pageant from the stable of
Blu-Moon Imaginationz, a media and film production outfit in Abuja
founded by the current Miss Peace Nigeria, Ify Concepta, the one-time
runner up for Miss Imo and Miss Tourism. The auditions for the beauty
pageant are scheduled to take place in two key cities; Abuja and Lagos.
Uti
Nwachukwu is a Nigerian TV presenter, actor, events anchor, model,
singer and an international entertainment personality. He rose to
international fame after he won Big Brother Africa All Stars (Season 5)
in 2010. Uti is currently the face and TV presenter of MNET Africa
Magic’s popular magazine show “Jara”, the most watched entertainment
news show in Africa.
Matse
Uwatse popularly known as Matse is a Nigerian radio presenter. Born in
Warri in Delta State, she is the daughter of John Uwatse and Pat Omare.
Uwatse works with 95.1 Wazobia FM, a Pidgin English-speaking radio
station established in 2007.
The
Lagos audition will take place next week at 33B Emina Crescent, Off
Toyin Street, Ikeja. Forms for the pageant are still up for sale.
Unlike
most beauty pageants around these days, every contestant at the Face of
Peace Africa Pageant will get to walk away with amazing prizes; the winner
(Face of peace Africa 2012) will go home with $10,000, brand new car, 1
year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, 1 year Beauty routine
with bold & beautiful, a trip to Gambia. 1st runner up (Blu-moon
model) will get $5,000, 42 inches Plasma TV, one year movie contract
with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year Beauty routine with bold &
beautiful, a trip to Ghana. The 2nd runner up
(Blu-moon Image) will get prizes worth $,2000, 27 inches
Plasma TV, one year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year
Beauty routine with bold & beautiful , and trip to Obudu cattle
ranch. Consolation prizes will also be available for other contestants
in the pageant.
To register for this competition, models are to buy forms at any branch of Zenith Bank PLC for N5, 000 or log on to www.blumoonimaginationzfopa.
