"Millenium Temple Is Not Suffering From Crash Crunch" - Paul Adefarasin

Pastor Paul Adefarasin's June 2011 opening date of his N1.5billion cathedral called Millennium Temple was not feasible and people are alleging that church members stopped donating. The pastor says the delay has nothing to with money. He tells Encomium's Femi Oyewale
"We never said the dedication date for the cathedral would be in June 2011. The project is a huge one with many complexities. It's an auditorium of its time, thus it would take time because many of the technological gadgets for the cathedral are quite sophisticated. We never lacked the resource for the building project. The needs have always been supplied. It is completely paid for and it's debt free. We are looking at the first quarter of next year, 2012.

Erm , not what he said earlier this year.

June 2011 was the month and the year...

Oh well, things happen. He's a good guy, I'm sure it'll work out.

is this really necessary?
all these building projects serve what purpose?
i support pastor's dream and vision with my cash and he supports mine with prayers.
how we support each others vision and dreams with prayers and use our cash for ourselves?
i support his vision with my cash and when their is no one to support mine with cash he tells me that i lack faith.
this pentecostalmodel seems faulty to me.
i can see the idea of building a structure as you spend millions at Eko hotel all the time.how about buying a large warehouse, airconditioning it, sound proofing it and installing your sound system?
do we really need all this archetectural master pieces?
in whose name is the land and building?
All these gangster pastors are not doing the gospel a favour at all.
If only the orthodox churches could keep me away from dozing off during there services i will be off in a heart beat.

No wonder Forbes Magazine's writer, Mfonobong Nsehe is always lambasting these guys.

If Jesus avoided fame and Fortune... Why are these pastors seeking it... Instead of using so much money to build a church, why not touch lives with it... When a church focuses more on fashion and financial success, we lose the reason why we worship God... May God help us all

I joined House on the Rock fully 3 years ago . I was working in a company in Ikeja and was the lowest staff there earning N15,000 a month.

I listened to Paul Adefarasin preach every sunday and wednesday. I listened to messages about tithes and offerings. God changed my life through this man's preaching.

3 years later, i own my company in Ikoyi, i hire over 12 staff and my turnover is almost N300 million a year. ( THREE HUNDRED MILLION) a year. I am in my twenties, not yet 30.

I am a better christian, my Spiritual life has changed so much and m physical life has changed as well.

From N15,000 a month i quit my job, House on the rock messages kept me going when i thought all hope was lost. I've done combined business of almost One billion naira and it's simple marketing not government projects.

No man is perfect, but there is a God and that God has has changed my life through Paul Adefarasin.

Thats the reason why when people are complaining about other giving their money to men of God, I would say let them nor talk too much.

see Anon 3:27, thats why people give their money and support God's work. Me, I have my own to say. When I started Winners, it was from one problem to the other. Infact, problem made me enter the church. Not only was my problems solved, I got a gooood job with an oil company (no interview) infact they were begging me to start work. As if thats not enough, one blessing to the other. I just started my company now too. ASk me why wont I contribute to God's work

House on the Rock needs this building badly. House on the Rock will move in.

The Lord is building it at his pace. At the right time his Church will move into it.

The building does not belong to Paul Adefarasin, it belongs to the Church and the Church belongs to God.

God has lifted me many time through Paul Adefarasin.

you comments and observations really make an interesting read, but the truth must be said. If you have never been broken in your life, not knowing were to turn and had the privilege of hearing Pastor Paul left you up in the sprite you might not understand why this work has to go on.
