The outgoing General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81Division Nigerian Army, Major Gen. Tamunomiebi Dibi yesterday August 9th, said a good number of Boko Haram members were arrested in Lagos during his tenure. According to The Sun, he said this during his handing over ceremony to the the new GOC Major General Isidore Henry Edet.
"Military job is a challenging task and Lagos State itself is a peculiar state. We have had our challenging times but we were able to overcome them. Under my watch, we were able to prevent the incursion of Boko Haram insurgents into Lagos.
A good number of them were arrested here in Lagos. Having served for 35years and retiring now, the legacy I expect my successor, the new General Officer Commanding 81 Division to uphold is to ensure a highly disciplined professional, efficient 81Division.” he said

.....even if it was true that BHaram was in Lagos, do you think the government would come out to admit it! Do you know the panic and chaos such revelation would have caused??? No, the government is wise and would not divulge such information to the public until they've done all they can to arrest the situation. Cast your mind back to when BHaram started up North. Else u would have been there languishing for u don't know, yet no one would have been able to help u considering the circumstances. A lot have gone than those they have rescued in even the northeast region than those they have saved. Trust me if one single incident has occurred, u would seen gross killing for a non substantive and fabricated evidence. You would have seen the lots in the types of the Apo Condon n searching killing of the innocents in that Lagos. Do not let such weak men to deceive you as it doesn't take much to do in that office He'd occupied if rising to that position from start had taken him much, as u put it those privileged men.
