Dawn In The Creeks Season 2 Launch

What happens when youth from the Niger Delta team up with entertainers, community stakeholders, and civil society organizations to amplify the alternative narrative of the Niger Delta as a place with resourceful rather than restive youth, & a population with a great appetite for a peaceful & prosperous future?

Dawn in the Creeks is a reality show that chronicles the journey of 21 filmmakers from 3 communities who go from taking a crash course in filmmaking, peacebuilding and advocacy to making films in and about their communities.

JetaAmata, a seasoned filmmaker with Nollywood and Hollywood credentials guides the young men and women through the world of filmmaking while an array of facilitators from Governor Donald Duke, NnimmoBassey, and YemiAdamolekun, to Mrs.Onari Duke, ChudeJideonwo and others come through the Academy to teach them some life, advocacy, branding, and business skills that will hold them in good stead.
Currently in its second season, Dawn in The Creeks shatters the myth of a hopeless Niger Delta. It highlights the ingenuity and creativity of the Niger Delta youth, and in deed the youth of Nigeria. Watch as our filmmakers take on the mantle of peace ambassadors in their communities as they use their new skills and capacity to strengthen the social contract, and lead their peers to the path of peace particularly in the run up to the general elections.

I don't see this as a good idea
Because we've seen many films about niger delta creeks and all that
And am getting bored with those kind of films
So they should look for other options abeg

this make sense if only as they say one of the motive is to show Niger Delta peeps as resourceful and not restive

@Igwe Adaobi: Why would you not get bored? Your brain is incapable of absorbing meaningful information. If you are worried about Boko Haram, your economy or security, you should want to know what is happening in the Delta because that is the genesis of everything you are a witness to right now. You think you would have those your sugar daddies to follow if there was no Niger Delta Story? Watch and learn about the bloody and cursed money you have been using to buy shoes for those your rickety legs. Foolish brainless kids from a vain and vile generation.
