In the current issue of New African Magazine, Genevieve Nnaji, Oluchi Orlandi, Nneka, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili, President Jonathan, Aliko Dangote, Prof. Attahiru Jega, Gov. Fashola, Jim Ovia, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Tony Elumelu, Prof. Chalres Soludo were among the Nigerians listed as influential in Africa. Thank God my life is not tied to any list from forbes or cnn or whatever. My life is tied to God. I am what I am, not because men recognise me but because God loves me! I love me!

Smh. My name's not on the list, again. Is its cos i'm black???? Life sucks, really. Who? Who? Who compiled the list? Who? Linda? I knew it. I knew. I knew it. That woman... Smh. She hates me. She does.

Okay. Just read the title. I'm African, but not in Africa.

I'm kidding :)

A few people such as Mugabe and genie should not be on the list but I guess it's not solely based on positive influence only just anybody well known in Africa

this lists are overrated.
it is just the opinion of one or two persons with access to the print media.
No biggie there.
None, absolutely none of the persons in that list influences me or the persons i know.

Congrats to them all.....
I like Genevieve Nnaji, but i'm not a STAN but all of you hating are the one's who actually got her to be on that list. When something is about ini edo going topless, you get genny into it, When something is about Mercy johnson, Dakor, OmoT, etc Someone just has to bring her into it, In your minds you are hating but at the same time you are making people more aware/intrested because you keep typing her name wether for good or bad so she keeps rising. So my advice is if you truly hate someone especially a celebrity, dont talk/type about them. Simple!

I wonder why there is so much noise about Genny. In today's world if the media says you are popular, then you are popular. I don't think there's anything special about her but I do like her confidence and strong gaze and am happy for her

look one advice for you haters, as long as you hate genny, she ll never fail, her God will continue to lift her up against all odds,

Drogba's accent is what,
Nelson Mandela speaks with an accent too, So does mama Ngozi, Its people like you Anon 8.59 that never make it in this loife. You can only watch from the sidelines as God lift who he lifts.

God bless you Genny and may you continue to do us proud. I claim hollywood for you too IJN. God bless you. You are a true celeb'heroine and influence. Dont believe less of yourself. But in whatever you do, give all d glory to God and He will make a fool of ur enemies.

I thing Ellen johnson sirleaf is,
In africa back then, the men was always in power,
Women place was in the kitchen, so for a woman to
Be president for a country is very influential.
It enconrages young girls to take their education serious,

IDRIS ELBA is African. He is Gambian/Sierra Leonian. And he doesn't hide it.
