So true. I hardly make comments here but I had to this time. FFK is 100% correct.

Very true. The Yoruba's will always betray you if you deal with them.

So correct. Am beginning to lik FFK

The yorubas knws they are the problems and this problem must be fixed!

Anonymous said...

FFK, you are indeed very right. Only if the elites can also see this from your angle.Growing up, my father never liked yorubas and tried to sow that seed of hatred in us . He kept telling us Ojukwu was betrayed by the westerners.Today , I don't think it is wise to still hold that grudge till now. Even if they were betrayed in the past, there crop of westerners are different.Igbos and yorubas should form alliance and push these power mongers out. We are not their slaves. If they must lead, they should rule the Northern Emirates alone! Leadership must be rotational and it is an Igbo man's turn. Imagine since I was born, I have not seen an Igbo president why?

100% TRUE!!

@AMIJEZ: Aboki!, STOP hiding your HAUSA identity. Your attempt to
disunite the Southerners-even on this blog-will never work anymore!

Point Well Made Ffk

The truth is bitter. The only answer to the much talked about and unsolved Nigerian question,is for the two tribes to bury their egos and resolve to work together for Nigeria to move forward.

AMIJEZ, I know say you be Aboki man..
Ur agenda wont work anymore.
Totally agree with FFK on this one.

Mr. True Talk said...

yes FFK is so right, but the truth is that the igbos will always say the yorubas betrayed them during the civil war and the Northerner spearheaded the war. it is the igbos that are not in good term with either of the two other regions because they are angry about the loss of the civil war.but then it's war. the yorubas have the right to allied with whoever they choose. but then the hatred is not in anyway helping the igbos, because in the past, present and future era u can't win a war without alliance.

Anonymous said...

Mister, please learn to use punctuation marks. Couldn't understand what u wrote. However, who made u advocate in the relationship btw the Igbos and Yorubas? This is ur way of fueling the discord abi? Dont worry...tell ur people we have learnt.

Anonymous said...

Yep igbos are the greediest and really rude and uncultured... Everything about them is money money money at all cost. Them collecting cheap bride price selling their daughters. Yorubas alway return the bride price saying they are not selling their daughters

Ffk is also a very rude man. A man who has never been able to run and keep a home intact changing women like handbags. Where are your grown children? Do you even speak to them? You didn't go for one of your daughters graduation or wedding, what kind of father is that? Because you have one money grabbing Igbotic looking thing who would never have looked your way is not for your coins. Abeg please do us all a favour FFK and go hide yourself. President Trump sef did not abandon his children from his previous wives... You are making noise because you now have a son... Illiterate mentality

Unknown said...

Exactly what the man just said thats what you guys are already doing, blaming each other about betrayal and backstabbing. Let there be peace for once

Anonymous said...

Not a problem my Igbo sis or bro. You guys are free to leave the Yoruba land abeg. We would pay you to leave your houses and businesses. Go and develop the biafran land. No problem at all. Leave the south west and south south. Yorubas keep a dignified silence a lot of times but if push comes to shove, we will chase you out of our lands

Anonymous said...

Because igbos are greedy, lack respect and fraudulent... Nnamdi Azikewe was however an honourable man.

Anonymous said...

We are not interested in an alliance. This is not ffk's marriage. Please go and set up your Biafra and leave the south west and south south. It is not by force abeg

No matter how hard u tried FFK, u will always remain who u are. A man who abandon his legitimate children, a man who married three times and divorce all, a man who had a child out of wedlock, a man who told us that the Igbos are the worst tribe on earth and how u slept with their married women (Bianca Ojukwu and co)in ur article THE BITTER TRUTH ABOUT THE IGBOS, a man who stole money meant to fight BH, a man who celebrated the born of a bastered child, a man who tried and is still trying to divide us along religious and tribal lines, a man who..........

Traitor runs in your tribe anayemous 10:34 you can see how jealousy you are so they should leave south west and south south ole. Traitor now what concerns with SS people. Treacherous tribe. You keep jealousin the igbo for nothing. Since you had the money to pay them to leave their properties, why u no get the money to first buy the property. Igbo and Yorba can never be friends as you basically are jealous of the igbo and are treacherous and traitors in nature. Their Awo did same. Forget it let has as keep dominating Nigeria we prefer them than the treacherous yourbas

Silly. Insinuating that a person will love and marry another person to spite an entire ethic group. So some people really think this way?

Anonymous 09:50 you're an idiot, the Yoruba's are traitors

Anonymous said...

I don't get it. Yorubas used to ask that you igbos chill out and accept one Nigeria as we have all married into each other. That we are all one .. Then everytime I come on this blog, the Igbo followers always insulted Yorubas calling us all kind of names and shouting Biafra. If you talk peace they would say shut up. So now Yorubas are saying enough... You can leave if you want. South south people even prefer Yorubas and we love them but honestly if people keep clamouring for Biafra then they should go. Yorubas would be very very alright. Which sea port sef ... Sea port Ko? Land port in.
Your Oga nnamdi kanu's family are well cushioned in the UK, he even has his full British citizenship.. You are killing yourselves for his selfish cause. Even FFK is fully British. Anything like this they will pot to safety. Be wise people, be wise

The hatred and bitterness are deeply rooted in both tribes. Read their comments and see for yourself. FFK is absolutely on point here! Hausa man is humble enough to form an alliance with either Igbo or Yoruba, but none of these proud tribes (Igbo and Yoruba) can do such to each other.
To paraphrase what FFK meant: Until they forgive themselves, there will never be a President and a Vice President of Yoruba and Igbo ticket that will win the Presidential election in Nigeria.

Personally I feel the so called feud between Yorubas and Igbos only exist among illiterate and unexposed Yorubas and Igbos.... The truth of the matter is that we are all Nigerians and whether we like it or not we owe it to ourselves and our kids to make the country a better place, and I don't see how dwelling on tribal feuds would make our lives any better. Right now things are the way they are, don't dwell in the past and flimsy excuses to blame your failures or short comings on the Northerners and concentrate more on goals other than sentiments

Anonymous said...

Ogbonna, you are a good Igbo man and no doubt a lot of Igbos are clean hardworking people . I wish more Igbo people would speak up for peace and stop letting greedy politicians take them for a ride. I am Yoruba and all for peace and one Nigeria but honestly I sometimes get so fed up with igbos on this blog because of the hate they always spew for Yorubas and Hausas. I had one clean Igbo guy in university then who would look me in the face and call me yoro. He was my friend but hated Yoruba people. I could not understand the hate. Yorubas are brought up not to hate, be respectful, hardworking not full of pride and definately not use obscene language. See igbos up there calling someone who did not insult them fool. It is just tiring so if they really want to go then we can do that peacefully. They keep talking war... Hmmmmmm may you never experience war hnmmm

It's obvious from just the few posts made here that any hope of southern unity, especially between the Igbo and Yoruba is only a fantasy. You can't build any coalition based on falsehood and hatred. FFK typifies everything that ensures this divide persists. Making the most noise doesn't mean you're fooling anyone...we ignore you when we understand you're beyond redemption. We haven't forgotten your hateful remarks towards the Igbo, and we certainly don't need your fair weather friendship.

Anonymous said...

You go and look at FFK's articles in the past and see his deep hatred for igbos, even Yorubas never liked him. Very unstable man... The yellow one in his house is what made him change tone.

Anonymous said...

You don't get it, it's the igbos that have been shouting they want to go and calling Yorubas dirty, ugly, stinking, demons, and all sorts and saying they want Biafra and war. I had to stop coming to this blog for a while because I felt so sad with all the hate. At a point like many Yorubas I just thought enough and felt if they want to go then so be it. At least we'd be rid of unnecessary hate and obscene language abeg.

Nigeria is dying a slow painful death, facilitated by cheap and petty hatred between the Igbos and Yorubas. In my life I've seen a Hausa/Igbo alliance, Hausa/Yoruba alliance, Hausa/SouthSouth alliance, and I'm sure if not for the unique geopolitical structure of Nigeria, Igbo/SouthSouth or Yoruba/SouthSouth alliance is easily possible. However a Yoruba or Igbo man would say the most uncomplemenrary things about each other and swear that no one can trust the other blah blah blah. Then how come do Hausa people find it ok to pair with either of them? In short, Hausa/Fulani people are too much. You gotta hand it to them. Igbos and Yorubas are childish pathetic learners.

Anonymous said...

Abeg if you can't deal don't comment shuo

Anonymous said...

Prince maxwell, why do you people always use insultive language?

Anonymous said...

Don't get it twisted, no tribe gets along with the igbos.., Hausas silently finish the igbos. South south always categorically state that they are not igbos but related to Yorubas hence the yorubaish names they bear. Ask an itshekiri man if he is Igbo and hear what he would say. Ask a Benin man if he is Igbo and hear what he would say. Yorubas are very accommodating and allow people from all over buy lands and establish themselves in their lands as per one Nigeria however it is the igbos that started calling the Yoruba land of Lagos no mans land and saying they would take over hahahaha.. I am a bonafide Lagosian and that can never be possible. All that came out of their greed. Go and see this same FFK's article of just 4 years ago when he used to speak honestly.,, THE BITTER TRUTH ABOUT IGBOS... Then you'll understand .
If all the half baked illiterates on this blog can stop insulting Yorubas and calling them demons then all is well. If they want to go it's all good. Really love Nigeria as a whole but enough of the insults. Let's speak respectfully about each other so we can leave in peace. Your master who just got freed is a British citizen who would port at the first sign of war. As for me instead of war, let those who want to go pack away completely to their land. Sekana!

Anonymous said...

Anon 23.21, you bigotry is blinding from the truth. So you think that the Hausas are not "silently" killing the Yorubas? Look at what is happening in this Buhari government for example? FYI SouthSouth allying with the South East or South west for political puroses does not make them Igbo or Yoruba, so your example above is infantile at best. The SouthSouth is made up of Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Bayelsa and Rivers, and you gave me examples two tribes with ancestral links to Yorubas who happen to bear Yoruba names? What about Ijaw, Urhobo, Kwale, Ika-Igbo, Delts-Ibo, Ibibio, Anang, Efik, Ikwerre, Ogoni, Ndoni, Calabria, Opobo etc? You just sit down in Lagos typing rubbish and you don't even know Nigeria. Or is it because of Amaechi who answers Rotimi because he was born in Lagos? And enough with this talk about Igbos being greedy and fraudulent, because you know it's bulls hit! So others tribes don't like money. You must be an infant.

Anonymous said...

The Christian part of Yoruba's gets along so easily with Igbos but for the Yoruba Muslims, mbanu! Ko le work! They will always support their Master the Hausa-Fulani and this is the problems.

Anonymous said...

My real worry is that most of the guys writing these hate notes are the supposed youths and young generation most of whom are educated professionals. It s annoying. I equally experienced this mistrust and hateful spite first hand. I guess the ibos are more open minded to the Nigerian society than the yorubas and they really need to work on that rather than making excuses. I recall while in uni in the UK, we had a Yoruba girl who will always spite an innocent Ibo guy in our class.untill I started reading up more about Nigeria, she made me believe the guy's tribe is full of shit. She told us they are cannibals, dullards and ritualists while the yorubas are the civilised educated elites who built and own the great city of Lagos. If the younger generation are this spiteful, it is worrisome what the country will become. Also thinking that parents are somewhat responsible for the hate info. Nigerians should help themselves. I guess every tribe knows their capacity and need not flaunt their ego.

Anonymous said...

Anon 7.01, no need for insults, that's exactly what everyone's been saying... Can you even debate without resulting to cheap insults. All the other tribes you are talking about state categorically that they are not Igbo. Oh and I am not sitting in Lagos typing rubbish as you said... You really sound pained. I have always and will always advocate for peace. I have loads truck loads of Igbo friends who are peace lovers, well educated and even speak Yoruba. I would never want them to be pushed away from where they live in the west because some greedy politicians want Biafra. Everybody likes money but not everyone is greedy for money. And please mr whoever you are abstain from using obscene language such as BS(wish I didn't have to say that) it is classless and tacky, not cool at all. Were you not told as a child not to swear?
Bottom line is people will always have their differences just like in a marriage. But advocating for war is a Nono for me.rather they and that all of them go as they want finish

Anon 9.12 you are missing the point. I have to admit it really hurt with the continuous hate comments from the Igbo readers on this blog against the Yorubas.... Over the past few years. It was beginning to sound like a blog strictly for igbos. Calling Yorubas dirty, ugly, demons, yarabas, razz, stinking and all sorts. However because one is civilised, you don't want to stoop to that level using obscene language. I actually stoped reading stuff here. The owner of the blog appears neutral and has an inspiring story so I started reading again only to find people clamouring for Biafra and war and all that. It is tiring, this has got absolutely nothing to do with my age trust me. I love peace, I ask God for His Grace not to be proud or act proudly. If people want to go peacefully then in the past I felt oh Nigeria should remain one as us coming together is the beauty of it all. But the crass insults on this blog made me sick and tired of it all. I hope we can work out our differences. Even well respected Charley boy joined the so called movement. Charley boy that is an area father in Lagos that all Lagosians and Yorubas love should be clamouring for peace not separation. So if people want to go then it's all good. TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT WAR.

Anonymous said...

Anon 09.57 you continously insist on missing the point. The South South tribes are neither Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa. They are themselves. Unique tribes. Just because some of them bear names like Chibuike or Opara does not make them Igbo. Neither does them bearing names like Temi make them Yoruba. If you think they are Yoruba or Igbo, then go and try and contest for any election in their state and you'll see their true colour. I know a lot of Yoruba males and females. Some of them will give an arm and leg to help you, while some of them nasty. That's life. There's good and bad everywhere, but some Yorubas will have you believe Igbos are exempt from this rule despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

@anon 13.32; Reading your lines presents me with a tribalist desperate to put his ugly point through, or rather an ignorant hater. You like saying that people miss the point I keep wondering what point you re chasing after.you don't want to see war and yet suggest ibos can go peacefully? Perhaps you re in need of some history lessons to realise that yorubas joined hands with Hausa lords to waste 3 million Ibo and south south lives when they wanted to go peacefully as you are now advocating. Your kinsmen adekunle, Obasanjo, wey etc were parts of the Nigerian high command while your lower ranks formed part of the infantry korofos they commanded. Your politicians like awolowo became the devil's advocate who provided all the strategies for the starvation of innocent children and financial stranglation of the then eastern region of which the SS was not spared. Before you come across as a lover of the SS, try n ask questions about the Asaba massacre and adekinle's policy of shooting everything that moves when he entered Rivers state. You guys are only after our oil and nothing more. Yorubas are in top management of most of the oil multinationals causing unimmaginable environmental destruction in SS communities while your Northern lords like danjuma assume ownership of our oil Wells, relaxing in abuja while you do the dirty jobs for them. You guys should leave the ibos alone jare. You destroy our environment and run back to your village to enjoy while we bear the brunt. FFK did not actually say all the truth because the real truth is that the yorubas are fuelling the discord between the south south and our eastern brothers because it is only when we are at war that you have your way to control our resources. We are getting wiser by the day.
