Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos offers upcoming bands in Nigeria the opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip to Miami Gardens, Florida and compete in the Hard Rock Rising Battle of the Bands competition, the world’s largest battle of the bands involving artists and music acts from more than 125 Hard Rock Cafes, Hotels, and Casino properties across the world.
For the next three weeks, selected bands will compete locally at the Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos for twenty minutes every Thursday. The winning band then moves on to the Regional Stage where they will compete with other bands from different parts of Africa. Final winner of the regional stage gets to head down to Miami Florida for a global competition with other world class bands.
The best part is the winning band will get the chance of a lifetime to play during halftime at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida- USA. In addition, the grand winner will get a chance to create a professionally- produced music video which will be added to the Hard Rock world-wide system. Other rocking consolatory prizes are available for the runner ups.
If your interest is piqued, then head on down to the Hard Rock Cafe Lagos on Plot No 3&4, Block XVI, Oniru Estate, Victoria Island, Near Landmark Centre, Water Corporation Road where forms are currently available. Interested participants are also expected to come by the Cafe with a Video CD with past performances and a rocking attitude.
