‘Awards are played out man. They’re too political’ – AKA hint at boycotting Award Ceremonies

South African Hip Hop act, AKA is planning to boycott award ceremonies for the rest of his music career. The ‘Baddest’ rapper was previously nominated for the 2016 MAMA’s Best Male and BET Best International Act, but failed to come out victorious in the respective categories.

In a series of tweets posted yesterday, AKA lashed out his frustrations at the award system and how less his loads of hardwork has been appreciated in the Music Industry.
