"Reasons being that they stay of campus due to very poor maintainance of their school Hostels. After the High cost of Accommodation which is at 90K naira and Additional 30k naira for staying 4 in a room. Also, the lack of a Student Union has prevented the students from sharing their opinions.

Pleaae have they improved on the accomodation of Madonna University? Thats the same way they banned students from staying off campus and provided them with a shit hole called an hostel. NUC should watch this Novena University.

Accommodation fee in Madonna is 63k per session. And that hostel ain't no shit hole, students are not banned from staying off campus there it is a pre requisite and its not debatable. I can't believe am defending Madonna though
The hostels may have been bad years back, but they are improving no. You don't pay extra to be a particular number in a room, the only serious issue they lack in their hostels are charging centres, while some hostels have, others don't but you can always charge in any of the charging centres.
Is Novena University not the same school that gave my course mate admission into 300l when she actually left Madonna in 200l first semester. They admitted her into 300l and by the time we (her original classmates) were in final year, she graduated! See the entrance of the school sef

Must you pass through a University to make it in life? Discover what you. Are good at and go for a good training to sharpen the edges of your capabilities. If you can read and write, communicate and make a reasonable argument, then enrol in a good technical school.

The reason behind the locking of the school gate is not actually because students stay off campus. Most students dont have I.D card and exit card as these are the requirements for students to be able to go out and come into the school premises. As for the accommodation, hostels differ, the amount for accommodation depends on the hostel u want to stay in. Nevertheless the school is just being security conscious as imposters who claim to be students come into the school to disturb the students. Seeing the crowd at the gate signifies that students standing outside the gate are not with their I.D or exit cards. So pls verification and preciseness should be made before posting any information.

It is one of the few private higher institution in Delta State. I'm aware some of the students were locked out cos they are yet to pay their fees. Still not kul.

Are you dumb? Because you're dating a lecturer's daughter doesn't mean you should be coming here to tell lies na. Ifeanyi, NUO locked students because they refused to pay extra 25-100k for accommodation after paying 80k naira in their fees.
It use to be a VILLAGE government secondary school that they converted to a 'temporary' campus site. For the past 10years they have been telling NUC that it is their 'temporary site' and paying they well to turn a blind eye... If you don't have qualification to enter our useless Federal and State school, you go over there and buy your 'made in aba degree'.
The school resumed just less than a 3 weeks ago. How is it that ID cards are ready? They are currently still taking in new students (granting admission).
They have not yet to issue ID cards.
Yes, you pay hundreds of naira and fool yourself that you are in a university. Visit the nearest State polytechnic (where school fees is 25k) and compare their facility with that of your glorified secondary school.
Novena is a joke. Prove me wrong by showing me pictures of your environment and learning facility. The only they they know how to do is cultural dance and dull parties.
