Ebeano Supermarket releases press statement on fire incident

Last week, one of the biggest supermarkets in Lagos, Ebeano in Lekki, was gutted by fire. They just released a press statement on the fire incident. Read below...
We at Prince Ebeano & Co. would like to thank Nigerians for their support and understanding on the fire incident that occurred in our Lekki Phase I Supermarket on Tuesday November 4, 2015 We indeed worked with the relevant agencies to manage and bring the situation under control; we are still working with them to identify the cause.
Most importantly we thank the Almighty God that no lives were lost in the incident. We would like to use this media to appreciate the Lagos State Fire Service, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Lekki Phase 1 Fire Service, Chevron Fire Service, Maroko Division of the Nigeria Police Force, Lekki Estate Residents Association, Eti-Osa LGA, our Business Partners & Suppliers and Dearest Customers. We will continue to count on your prayers, support and patronage as we strive to surmount this challenging phase.

We are still open for business at PRINCE EBEANO SUPERMARKET, ALONG CHEVRON DRIVE LEKKI. We assure you of our irrevocable commitment to the satisfaction of our valued customers.

Sincerely, Management

@Dolapo.. A big supermarket "should" have.. not compulsory or regulatory. But I pray that they have an insurance policy.. at least for thier own sake

Ebeano will come back bigger and better.

God will replenish ebeano in folds they cannot fathom. Good business pple. Still paying suppliers even after the fire outbreak. While you are begging some silly supermarkets to pay u afta 3 months of supply.

You have never said any sensible thing in all your years of commenting. This didn't surprise me.

However, why are you always this depressed? Jesus is the answer. Give your life to Him.

Ebeano will bounce back very soon. Everybody watch out.
