Austin said...

that's true!! 100% true. where the rot now is in our electoral body is the state-managed electoral body which include the state house of assembly, local government chairman and the rest elections. i vividly recall the last local government election held in my state, it was a total mess but results came rolling like election was fairly held favoring only the ruling party in the state. Honest Edo people can bear me witness to this statement.

Don't patronise Buhari. Just turn a new leaf for ur sake. No more importation o MIKANO! NUF SAID.

Anonymous said...

Yes of course! It is a question of which people can spin the best lies and propaganda! We clearly know them! Those who own and run the media wins! That does not mean it represent the truth and facts! It's all a game and some people have mastered the act of shouting black in their droves even when the color is red! This election has further proven that Nigeria is not one! Voting was clearly regionalized however it was okay for the northern and western region to vote ethnically but it's never okay for eastern region to do same, after all the are the defeated innit? Hence the attacks on the Igbos by the yorubas and hausa even before the election results were all fully announced! Now buhari has won I hope you people can let them have peace!

Anonymous said...

Where is the interim government? Where are the snippets? Where is the military takeover? I thought Jega was to be removed? So many accusations on one humble man I can't even begin to count! This is the power of social media atiku is talking about- a channel through which they spread their lies and propaganda to discredit a man who cared nothing less about clinging to power but more about keeping a country he loves at peace! Can same be said about you power mongers? I do hope that the social media continues to be powerful during buhari regime. I do hope that premium times, daily trust, nations, sahara reporters and the rest of the news media controlled by tinubu kit and kin and muhammad kit and kin remain active and not drop their telescope- same telescoping must be on buhari too! Yes as Nigeria belongs to all of us! But I will not kid myself, these news agencies are under the pay roll of the incoming administration so no more corruption and propaganda report! Back to suffering and smiling,- illusions!

GMB has won, we have heard. Change has come,
we agree. The Nigerian Lee Kwan Yew has
arrived. We welcome him. However, we expect
to see this change PRONTO.
Constant light in four years. WAEC pass rate
should be 90%. In four years. There should be
no more potholes on our roads. In four years.
We shouldn't hear of crime. In four years. There
must be no corruption in ANY sector of our
public/private lives. The Naira should gain
grounds against foreign currency(that one no
favour me but I go still talk am). In four years.
Fuel price should be N16. In four years. All of
these and many more. In four years.
To all those who rained abuses on GEJ and
Patience in the name of campaign, all I ask is, be
as critical of the incoming government as u were
of GEJ's. We will not hear the excuse that
Nigeria's problems did not start with Buhari ooo.
We will not hear that change takes time o. Let
us judge him by the same yardsticks.
At the same time, we have not forgotten all the
promises o. Stipends to the poorest families.
Payment of 'allawee' to unemployed graduates.
Feeding Nigerian students daily. When he made
these promises, he knew about the country's
reserves. He knew that the crude prices were
falling. He said he would do it, and Nigerians
believed him.
We should watch carefully. How will he
constitute his cabinet? What will his body
language be towards bigwigs in his party that
have been accused of corruption? How exactly
does he intend to "fight corruption?"
Four years is a long time. A lot can be done in
four years, For the sake of our dear country, I
sincerely hope that change has come.
