Petroleum Minister Alison-Madueke has announced a N10 reduction in pump
price of petrol from N97 per litre to N87 per litre effective midnight tonight January 18th. Just watched her announcement on NTA! Great stuff!

This should av been done since there was a decrease in fuel value all around the world.. the price of fuel in the use was $3.5 before now its $1.5 .. so the equavalent value for our value is suppose to be dropped down to #40 naira.. and stil he wants to use this to score cheap political point??

10 Naira reduction doesn't change anything. Especially since they are more likely to increase the price even higher than 95 Naira after the elections. If they could reduce it since,why didn't they reduce it? It's now that elections are drawing so close that they're trying to play games with the masses.

This ain't political strategy, he was even late in reducing the price. Everywhere around the world, fuel prices have gone down low. We are on a 6year low! GEJ that price should even be 67 per litre sef.
My fellow Nigerians beware of this 'Greek' gift, GEJ already increased it to N112 per litre & after 1 week of nation wide protests 'reduced' it N97 per liter from N 54/N56(?) per liter further more oil prices fell about 5/6 months ago & countries reduced the price of petrol immediately, what took our FG so long? Shouldn't the reduction be more than half as that's the cut in oil price worldwide, like N56 per liter. When One barrel was N197, PMS pump price was N97, now that one barrel is N45, they have decided to "help" you by selling to you at N87 and you are rejoicing.
