I'm in shock. Singer Goldie has passed on. Just confirmed from her best friend and my close friend, Denrele Edun. He told me Goldie died this night at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island. Goldie just came back from the US today he said, and was so full of life, then something went tragically wrong. Will get all the details from him in a bit, he was crying so much and had to switch off his phone. I'm shaking so bad. She and I had a conversation a few days ago while she was in the US. Oh dear Lord. Is this how people die? May her soul rest in peace..Amen.

Sounds to me like Deep Vein Thrombosis. This is me speculating. When you sit for long periods of time without moving around blood flow stops in your legs and can lead to blood clots. This is the number 1 killer of people who travel. It is usually recommended to stand up and walk around on the plane to stretch your legs. Here in the US at my work. There is mandatory 2 15 mins break besides a 30 min lunch and its there for a reason. REST IN PEACE.
