such a beautiful song and they ruined it with this yeye generic oyibo filled video! Smh!

What is it with our people and Oyibo women? Is it that Nigeria doesn't have beautiful women?? I am so turned off by this video. I am so disappointed by this group. They need to get back into the studio and re-shoot the video with Nigerian women and in Nigeria.

Flavour is the best....

Flavor, nwanne you done kill me. But there is something wrong when our musicians film most of their music videos in foreign locations; especially ones with such traditional/local bent as highlife.

Okey oh hm.. our artist now is pulling there shoulder up. They now prefer doing there video out 9ja and featuring big artist like akon, rick rose etc and come back home and make dia fucking money that means that no environment is conducive for them to shot there video in 9JA.

@Bonario- that is such an insensitive thing to say... It just shows that you are warped in your thinking and not any different from a racist. Whether they are Asian, black, white, girls are girls.

@ King of blog lords, ogini! Your English is killing me! "Rick rose" lmao.

Lol, those babes and location have nothing in common with the song! Obviously Flavour is talking about heading to Anambra at the end of the song, meaning he would like to do an introduction of marriage with her family. Forgive me if I'm wrong but those ladies are not from Anambra. Lols

Anyways I am and I hear him 200%. Igbo love tinz

This is really getting annoying now. We should boycott all these Nigerian artists who continuously use Oyinbo women. While there is nothing wrong with putting foreign women in your videos, why are they always the overwhelming majority, or the love interest? You are making music for a Nigerian population, singing in your native tongues, and yet the people you want to buy your music are not good enough to put in your video? Let us see how many famous Indian, Chinese, Latin, or whoever else artists continuously fawn over women that look nothing like who is listening to or buying the music.

The only thing the Iranian - American vixen understood in this song is 'Beautiful lady'.....

Well what's her own, as long as you guys paid her her money.

Nice song for Ibo traditional wedding. It wld hv been better if Ngozi,Uju,or Ifunanya was used in this video.....I guess, it's all abt the universal appeal? For me, I will go for originality....it sure sells.
G'luck guys.

Would've been a better video if Nigerian culture, love was displayed. Too bad on a missed opportunity. Do better Bracket.

Bona nwa, do you remember "rhumba" by mike okri? Choi!!! Good music with local percussions and local setting. Nigerian musicians should be more patriotic since the fan base here makes the difference. Without sounding racist, we would really appreciate models who are not caucasian or asian or distinctly not nigerian! Besides its capital flight when u have to pay outsiders. Give back to the economy biko nu!!! -ng owerri

Am not a big fan of any Nigeria artist whose name doesn't start with wiz and ends with kid :) hehehe

This video is a big fail. You are singing with Igbo lyrics and you are not using a black girl or filming in Nigeria.Wtf.
Here is my breakdown of this video: they both look like FOBsv dancing on top of that building. Very BUSH in their mannerisms. They are singing all that sweet shit to the oyinbo girl to try and woo her so he cash marry her and get papers. Nigerian men, take note

Anonymous said...

These numb skull artists and their half baked oyinbo girls music videoes. Hw u wnt sing songs about beauty and go use foreign babe? wat r u telling our young girls and d ple dat will buy ur music dat dey r not beautiful unless dey r white? who sed white skin defines beauty? when was d last time u saw a black girl in a white artists music video. Dey better get over dis dere negroid inferiority complex and b true 2 ur origins. As 4 d song it sounds too much lik wetin una don sing b4.

Flavour so made the song worth listening to, otherwise e for just be another generic naija production. And don't know what it is with this oyinbo looking skinny asses.

U r ryt shaa. Entertainment industry should also feed other sectors. If there are regular auditions for pretty and not so pretty students to be in music videos, gov rochas will have no need to shut down "nudity clubs." If u r singing in the local language at least appreciate the local ladies..... Ada in newjersey

Anonymous said...

I tire oooo. They r all doing it even davido , dbanj, naetoc and all the new ones.

Anonymous said...

A least explain to the girls what you are saying so they can act the part properly.

I hope the video sells

BONARIO NNAGS said...

looolz @ Ng doing dat, there won't be need for Rochas to shutdown nude clubs.

What's up with you people and where they shoot their videos? When Rick Ross came to the ghetto of Lagos and shot his video yall were crying wolf, why can't you guys be real for once? If a black girl was used, you will call her 'Mgbeke' , which one una dey sef?Anyway in other news, Flavour's ashawo song was banging in a London club mostly populated by whites.I was really surprised that our music has gone this far.Flavour nwam Jisie ike, nsogbu adiro.

Same old lame beats since they released yori yori.So sick of it. Couldnt even watch the vid from start to finish.Still singing about the same old shit.

Anonymous said...

After flavours part I stopped d video immediately. bracket really? I think it's only one beat u guys have in that studio abi?

Anonymous said...

I am tired of hearing Bracket sound the same in all their songs. It is like they only change the lyrics while the sound remains the same. But that fone call by Floavor, killed it for me !!! I like ! Biko lota ba Anambra hahaha

Anonymous said...

Okay. So the song does not go with the video. The arab chic in the video is not just rhyming with the ibotic dialect. People, embrace and love yourselves and your women.

Anonymous said...

Hahahahahahah
'my butiful baby we go stsy togedia eh' lolz. ibo bois

@Alicia why the rudeness?

Obara Jesus..please have mercy on us and just read eya..don't comment please

Bush rats! These bush men can overdo everything. They are now using a tranny as their love interest because he/she isn't black. Inferiority complex.

And which grown motherf+cker names a song, Beautiful Baby? Lame men.

Anonymous said...

na wah oh! this beautiful baby can pass for a tranny :(
