Good one. Now all those who insulted the Nigerian govt on that Johnny Walker post should come back to apologize, and I guess I've been vindicated cos you (Linda) refused to post my comment because I said the truth about that exploitative Johnny Walker congratulatory message - guess they chose to crawl the talk on that.
The money is small sha! Kai. Stingomania GEJ. Or is it because they are the Paralympic athletes?
Very impressive. Kudos to you GEJ
Finally oga jona has given me reason to think he is sane afterall though I think he would have done better for the paralympians but president Jonathan I am proud to say you try.

Paraolympians una do wellooO!
Make una watch una money cos as soon as runs babes hear all these millions, they must tempt una!
where's Jonathan's wife o
Anonymous wey dey seek suggestions on how to get him own national award.
Try this method. Find way to gain access to the treasury, come begin steal money, no steal small o. Steal like billions of dollars and reinvest some back in a sector of the economy to still benefit yourself, donate some to the ruling party and all connected institutions.
After this, na you go chose the award wey you want with your own hand or mouth.
I dey sure say others go give you better ideas.
I am impressed President Goodluck Jonathan.
Thank God they recognised them and i hope they'll reward them as they say.
Great job President Gej.

@last.
Me nko? Linda let's rep naija in aproko
Nice job GEJ!
Falconets!!! N1M each for 4th place???? That's ridiculous! 300-500k each would have been fair enough! GOSH!
What a president we've got, so full of adrenalin and easily gets carried away in the moment!
Does he even have any sensible advisers?
First time am happy with the president. U just impressed me GEJ. We need to encourage them. Afterall d guys with complete body no carry aluminium come back. So nice one
He has just given them problem. Relatives and friends will just swamp them and relieve them of the money. Giving them employment or buy annuities for them with the money is better. But I like the National honours. Will they still get the cash award that comes with the honour?
'In addition, each of the six paralympic Gold winners will be conferred with the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON)'...this is more like it...true heroes who fought for their motherland...GOD BLESS THE OLYMPIANS,GOD BLESS NIGERIA,GOD BLESS LINDA,GOD BLESS ME.
I am very happy about this. Seriously, these guys even deserve much more. Calling on companies to recognise them and use them as ambassadors. Well done our wonderful paralympiads
Dats good, dis is d kind of stories we want to hear Linda @mashlessness
Nice one Presido! We hail.
Nice one GEJ,the parlympians desrves it
let us wait till monday and hear what ACN and CPC will say may be they will ask GEJ to explain where hw got the money and why...lol any way congrats to them.
Good one GEJ
Best news ever!..well done Mr President..
Huum dats so cool GEJ una try dis time
Very well deserved move. Well done GEJ.
His only sensible action this year.
'oh gosh am tearing up'....platinum upgrade
Cool stuff uncle Jona...they really did well.
That is what he is supposed to do. Not giving honours to some thiefs in government who have robbed us blind.
The gold medalist deserve more eeh. That's why i like Abacha, he would have given them all that plus a costomized bmw or benz with a choice property in abj
Nice one GEJ ! They represented us well and am proud of them.
Mk dem use d million buy car now, u tink its cars dt ll solve dia P? D money is alright
Now that's a good president!!
It's a good way to encourage them and inspire future olympians.
Nice one Mr prresident
na so we get money milion our road dem bad oh education employment though give honour 2 whom its due
He is finally thinking wit the right part °ƒ his brain.*inserts thumbs up smiley here*
At least now GEJ don spend some of our millions wisely. It's good dat the team is appreciated especially the paralympics team
These stupid cash prizes is NOT what the Disability community in Nigeria need! GEJ Sign the goddamn disability bill into law and stop all these rubbish grandstanding and playing to the gallery!
Now this is fabulous. I love this so much! That's extremely encouraging
@ anon 9.17,,u obviously don't comprehend wat anon 1.19 said n u r concludn rubbish,,,busy body
It's so sad that the honor for these paralympiads comes so late. If GEJ originally planned to honor their achievements, it would have been announced before they left London. Instead, after they arrive back in Nigeria without any fanfare, the president is trying to allay the public backlash.
What a shame...
Kudos to the athletes sha. Spend your money wisely oo!! Remember to save some for the future (fame comes and goes).
***Lush
good job, Mr President. We should celebrate our won. Impressed.
Goodluck jonathan has done so well in the manner of honouring the medalists especially in the conferment of national honours.... It will encourage others.
Get paid for doing certain jobs on the internet @ www.grabthisinformation.blogspot.com
Abeg he don try, its not everytime we critcize, let's learn to appreciate things too
Btw na me critcize GEJ administration pass, but I can comfortably say he scored a point here biko
at last!
something done!
happy for the athletes.
I agree wit u. Anoda issue wey vex me na d falconets. Wat nonesense is dat? All dis women's lib ppl wia una dey? Una dey see d kin disrespect wey dey show dis our ladies ko? Nigeria has trillions in dollars 2 throw around n dis is all dey can giv dem? Anyways I say thank u in d saddest voice eva.
I luv u abeg!
I hope our president or his ppl see dis. Abacha truly apreciated our sportsmen in big n un4getable ways, I dnt hav a million of my own yet but I'm not jumping ova dis. Goodluck u try but u neva impress us yet
Only worthy thing pf note by this Govt!!..Dude has no idea of the power of PR..took him this long to do something!!!...better late than never I guess
President Goodluck might prove to be the most praised president afterwards. Fingers crossed.
nigerians are the problem with this country not GEJ..i recall how u people whined and whined that he should make sure he personally hosts them now that he has done so some are saying ...why didn't he bring his sick wife, the money is too much ,the money is too small..kai...i weep for naija .We are our greatest headache..im gonna puke now
people praising Abacha need help sha
@ last GEJ.......
Well done uncle Jona ...
GBAM!!!
5 million can't even buy much in Nigeria. While they loot billions upon billions of Naira
@Anonymous 7.17pm i concur and 2nd you on that....May God help Nigerians.......tufiakwa for them.
Gudluck johnny has tried for d paralympains. Those abled bodied athletes cud not come back with anything in d olympics. Not even wood or even metal. As for dat house member wey go london go do oymprick. Na God go judge u. D falconets came back wiv 4th and u guys are complaining. When last our super chickens impress us. Abeg make una answer me oh
Am cool wit d money buh National award?? Dats bullshit! Dis is smethng dey r suppse to do, wats d bg deal here
Conferment of national honours is a good and comendable gesture however, I take exception to all these cash gifts the government is in the habit of doling out! Where is the money coming from? What part of the budget? We keep talking about curbing government spending but we then we clap our hands and pat presido on the back when he flagrantly and without recourse to procedure, spends public funds as if it's coming out of his back pocket!
Truth is that I dont even have a problem with cash gifts just so far as those things had been previously provided for in the budget cos guess what? If they were not previously provided for then that money is coming out of a project somewhere and later on we will start to shout about the high rate of failed projects!
God help us!
This one na wash wash. The govt should make the annoucement when they actually giving them the money....actions speak louder. I find it difficult to believe that the govt will keep to their promise. This is not the first time they are sayiing such things. I hope they get the money, because they deserve it.
@Alicia what u talking about 5 million naira is £20,000 and probs $30,000...try working selflessly for that after tax for months in the diaspora..for some a year sef dem never earn this amount!!..
