The 200level student was visiting the friend when they were attacked by armed robbers who robbed them and shot her in the face because she fought them off when they tried to rape her.
The 21 year old was buried today at Ijebu Ode according to Islamic rites. Her friends say she was very jovial, friendly and kind hearted. Her candlelight procession will hold tomorrow at skyfield in Lagos.
I have a photo of her corpse but it's probably not necessarily to put here. May her soul rest in peace...amen!

Armed robber kee! what happened to the most exhaulted vigilante group of the late '90s in Ijebu-ode, when it used to be difficult for armed robbers to operate in Ijebu community.
Its been some years now that I moved from this neighbourhood, during the late 90s no group of armed bandit could operate in Ijebu-ode bc the security was so thight, the Awujale of Ijebu-ode, Oba Sikiru Adetona ordered every man in Ijebu-ode and its environs to partake in this exercise and those men that were either not comfortable or afraid of being caught relocated to Lagos, Ibadan and somewhere they could hide.
The exercise was very sucessful, in some of those night watches with fellow members. We were so careful in taking suggestions we considered suspicious from both leadership and ordinary members-the city became a quiet, peaceful and loving place to live in.
Where are those wonderful chiefs that worked with the able father of Ijebuland, are they too old now to continue the good work of the '90s that could have saved the lives of the likes of WUNMI ADEBAYO.
Ijebu people are wonderful, hard working and peace loving, they need to wake up to this challenge and do it again, I mean they should wipe these shameless idiots out of their neighbourhoods. So that peace may return to Ijebu ode and its environs.
May her soul rest in perfect peace,
and long live Ijebu-ode.
