The church, St. Roberts Catholic church, located in the Village of Adamgbe, Mbayongo Vandeikya Local Government area of Benue collapsed at about 10pm last night, right in the middle of service, killing at least 30 people and injuring many others.

Another tragedy on a festive day while people are in church worshipping God??

The way buildings collapse on individuals in Naija ehn,read one even happened in ilorin,kwara.This time it was church pillar.
Where are the structural Engineers and architects in Nigeria?Is there an organisation that monitors building constructions in Naija?I suspect substandard materials may have been used to erect the church.And my president has a brand new church "dashed" to his village.

That's my hubby's village church n all my in-laws were at mass. Its truly a tragedy on a day we should be joyful.
May the souls of all who have died rest in peace. May God give comfort,strength n consolation to all left behind to mourn them.
