Ruff Coin (Nwa ba), born Emelogu Muruako Fortune is a Rising Nigerian artiste born to Late Mr Akwarandu Emelogu and Ugoeze Rebecca Nne Emelogu is the last of 8 children, and hails from Abia state.
His Musical journey started in 1998 but he made no moves to take it to the next level as he had other areas of concentration.
In 2004 he recorded his first album titled Nwa Aba which included smashing hit single titled “Nwa Aba”. This album made him a household name most especially in the Eastern part of Nigeria and shot him into limelite. The album earned him the crown title Nwa Ba, which means child from Aba, giving credit to his home town.
He released his second album titled “Nwa Aba Reloaded” which had hit singles like “Take me there” and “Nwa Aba Remix”
His Music style is known as Conscious Afro Hip Hop and sometimes he also plays around with other genres of music like R&B/Makosa .
He is currently in the studio working on his third album known as “Diamond in the Ruff”, which includes hit singles such as “Sweet Music” and “Onye Eze”. Which can be termed as nothing short of brilliant from this rapper who has been equated to African American rapper 50cents because of his smooth rap skills and delivery?
